Nightbane mumbled something and his shadow appeared in front of them with the gold hairpin in his hand. "He found this while checking up on you guys. I didn't know whose it was so I told my shadow to hold on to it. Then I heard Tomoe mention you were missing it when you weren't around." He took the hairpin from his shadow and put it in her hair. Underneath his hood he smiled a little.

Nightbane was about to say something when a wind picked up. It blew his cloak off, Shoot I forgot to button it... Nightbane gets up and turns around, shameful for his appearance. Even though he was clothed, with the exception of shoes, his ears poked out and his tail swished around.

Tomoe got up from her bed and sighed slightly. "Darn... what a night..." she said as she stood up and headed toward the balcony. "I wonder if Bellla ever came back to the castle..." she said softly.

Tomoe smiled softy and jumped down from the balcony. "Hm... daddy's probably busy... so he won't even notice if I go out for a while... just to find bella!" she said eagerly. "Hey Bella, sis, where are you?" she said through telephaty to her sister.

Nightbane turns around to show her his face. Long black-blue hair hung down past his shoulders. Blueish wolf-ears on his head. His eyes were gray and almost lifeless. He had fangs that showed when his mouth opened. His hands had silverish claws. His darkish tail swayed back and forth. One of his ears twitched. Nightbane looked left hearing footsteps as Tomoe approached.

"Okay!" she said, as she began to run toward the river, not taking too long since is not too far away from the Castle. Suddenly, she hides behind a tree, unnoticed by them. Nightbane's with Bella? Oh.... I best not interrupt then... she thought as she stayed behind the tree.

Nightbane looks and sees cat ear's poking out from a tree. "Uh Tomoe, what are you doing behind the tree? Is Juno okay?"

Tomoe blushed embarassed at being found so easily. she walks out from behind the tree, still blushing and smiles sheepishly. "hi Nightbane... I just saw you alone with Bella, so I didn't want to interrupt.... oh and Juno's with the Mages... they haven't said anythning about him.

Nightbane blushed a bit. Then he remembered he didn't have his cloak on yet and looked down and regained control over his expression. "Uh well...." He didn't really have an answer for her statement. He had wanted to talk more to Belle but he didn't want to have Tomoe leave. I'd rather be fighting demons than choosing words. "...I hope Juno will be okay." Nightbane said solemnly.

Tomoe couldn't help but to giggle at his expression. "This is the first time I see you without your hood... with the way you acted, I thought you were a disfigurated monster or something..." she smiled softly. "It's okay, I'm used to leaving Bella and her friends alone, well.... just when she was with Marcus, and it's not that she doesn't want me around... it's just that I don't want to interrupt," she said as she scratched her head sheepishly. "Oh... I do too... I'm pretty worried... but I'm sure he'll make it through..." she said, looking up to the sky.

Nightbane falls silent at a few things. He knew that she was holding back. He looked bad and didn't like the way he looked. Even his family had been disgusted with the way he looked. He remembered that Belle had a boyfriend and felt stupid for even trying to talk now. He didn't understand much but it made him feel bad one way or another. Last thing he fell silent for was one of his marks....was named Marcus. They can't be the same person...right?
