Darksol88 "She seems to be alright." Aden said, as he sat down. "Was trying to get used to walking on her hind legs on the way here, though. She said it's kinda awkward." "Well, just try to support her a bit. This is a bit of a change, and even still, if all goes well, she has one more evolutionary stage after that." I told him, taking out the SNAG and pulling up a Pokeddex entry. I then showed Aden what I was talking about. "That will be the last stage. Ampharos."

"Yeah. Hopefully she'll be alright to battle again soon. I kinda hate to put her through it, but I might end up needing her at the gym.. wait, there's another evolution after that?" Aden sounded a bit surprised, until he saw what Blizzard meant. "Huh... guess there's something to still work towards. At her pace, though. I'm still surprised she evolved so quickly. I kept thinking Nidoran would be the first for that."

"Who knows. Nidoran may not be too far from it, actually. Though word of advice...you may want to put your Pokemon in the know as well." I told him. "Otherwise, that may be a awkward moment with you, Flaffy, and your party." I said.

Darksol88 "Eh, yeah... I kinda plan on it. Nidoran's just gonna have to deal with it." He said. "Besides, I don't know when Ryan will be back from whatever he's doing." "Don't know...though I do think he did have an agenda...somewhere. I guess he can meet us over at the gym." I told him. "Want something to eat before we head off toward there?"

"Oh, yeah, I never thought to grab anything before I went off to the park." Aden commented, quickly getting up for a few plates. In his case? It involved a couple of waffles. For the rest, it was mostly berries, and it wasn't long before he let his Pokemon out so they could eat something theirselves.

I thought for a moment as Aden started to have his meal along with his Pokemon. So, he got a Pokemon evolved before his third gym battle...not bad. A Scyther to be a part of his line up as well, win or lose at the bug catching contest. He's coming along just fine, actually. Though it leaves me to wonder if Aden was truly ready for Whitney today. I guess we'll find out.

It wouldn't be too long before Aden would be done, though at least he had the decency to pace himself. Throughout, though, he was thinking. Wondering how to go about explaining Flaaffy. "Oh, guys, there's something you'll want to know about Mareep."
Though his Pokemon were nearly done with the berries, they stopped and turned. Nidoran a bit quicker than the rest. "Don't worry about it right now. You'll see after we're done here."

"Ah..." I knew what he was about to do. I then got up and then looked over towards him. "While you are doing that, I'm going to go over to the PC. I'll meet you up front whenever you're done." I said.

"Oh, okay." Aden watched as Blizz went off, only for Nidoran to speak up.
"(And just what happened? She better not have gotten in the way.)" While Nidoran was a little better about Mareep, he still had his reservations.
"You'll see what I mean, but she's not really Mareep anymore. In a sense."
"(Ooh, ooh, did she find something to put on her face to fi-)"
"(Raticate, please relax a bit. Aden, stop beating the bush.)" Even Poliwhirl had his moments, it seemed.
"...Sorry. Anyway, she's evolved not too long ago. It may not make much sense except for Poliwhirl and Raticate, but you'll see what I mean."
Some confusion was abound, but Nidoran went silent. If this meant he was technically the smaller of the two, he wasn't pleased. Didn't help with her being one of the newer ones since everything started.

As I made it back to the PC, I thought for a moment, looking at the party available and what I got in the PC. "......son of a..." Once again. Stumped. Should I alter? Should I not? If I do go for the change, then who? Right now, I got everyone that I wanted to train and then one or two to help me out if things really got hairy. ".....bah." Decisions decisions.

"Uh... if you're all done, let's just come on. I'll get a few berries for her." Aden said, before getting a handful of berries and walking on to the main part of the Pokemon Center.
It wouldn't be long before the nurse would be back at the counter, with a single Pokeball. Flaaffy was fine, though she might want a little more time to recover. "Ah, good. Here, everyone, let me show you what I was meaning..." He said, grabbing the ball.

I looked over from the PC. Apparently Aden was about to make the reveal happen. I made a couple of exchanges then shut the PC down, looking back and seeing a line behind me. "..............there are more than one PC around here, you know." I said, shaking my head then walking off.

Aden couldn't help overhearing. "I think they're more surprised to see someone stand there more than five minutes." He commented. "But, lesse... Flaaffy, come on out." He pressed the button on the ball and held it out, letting Flaaffy show up next to him. Upon seeing her, reactions were mixed.
Raticate was a little confused, almost thinking she found some sort of costume. Poliwhirl kept quiet, but was glad to be right on the assumption. Geodude was indifferent, but Nidoran was a different case. After getting a good look, he turned around.
"Nidoran, you were going to have to see it too. So please don't start."
"(Yeah...)" Flaaffy finally spoke.
"(Shut it, pinkie.)"
"You'll get used to it, okay?" Aden had a feeling he'd have to talk to Nidoran later.
