DivineMaiden Orielle Mary!! Xin chào, chi khoe không? Em nho Viêt Nam. (Did I get that right...? Do you know how you get those dots under and question mark like things over the vowels on a computer?) I wish I had learnt more Vietnamese while I was there, it's an incredible language. Thank you though! My computer is supposed to come back from the repair guys in 3-4 days, I just hope it isn't completely dead .___. Meanwhile, I have been painting and drawing (with actual paint and pencils!) a lot. I'll try to scan some of it one day.. Aand I am starting in a new college on Tuesday, taking Global Understanding II, sounds pretty fancy, eh? biggrin 
hehe ^_^ I think you will have to install some kind of language tool thing, I know in the Vietnamese forum it can do it automatically. I usually learn to read it without all the ..stuff or just put it after the letters like "xin cha`o" lol You said that line pretty correctly except since I'm younger you could call me "em" and yourself "chi." 3nodding heart
@Orielle: Oh you can get those accents on any computer. Go: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tool -> Character Map ^.^

Oui. xD But I was born in Canada and never visit Vietnam. Px But since my family can only speak Vietnamese, I get use to it too. This one guy friend who is Vietnamese can't speak a single word. x_X Well maybe he can say a couple of words but that's it. DD8 (Though I'm sure he understands it)

I came to america in 4th grade so I know how to read and write in viet already ^_^ (although I still don't fully understand the meaning of those ancient viet word whee )
Most Vietnamese I know can understand and sometime speak viet pretty alright though they pause after every word 3nodding heart

I took it this year again in grade 10 but is considering to drop it next year because it might bring down my average. I'll see after exams. Well you can call me Mary but my Viet name is Tra^m , which means the chopstick thing that girls used to put in their hair back when there was Kings... (maybe now too but not too much) lol
