That's okay. I'll explain it briefly, and you can ask a question or two before I hop into bed.

If you donate $2.50 to gaia, they give you a sealed letter for the month. Towards the end of the month that sealed letter opens and becomes a thank you letter for the month and year that you donated( or bought it from someone else to spend real money). Each thank you letter(except the first one) contains two items. For example, last month had the pheonix circlet and the bone dragon helm in it. The may letter had the two guitars in it.
This months just opened, and the items came out. (Check the announcements in the forums for more info)
