Philip started the tryouts really well, but was ending them pretty badly. He happily took a break and a potion before getting ready for the next round. This time they'd be hitting targets, which kind of blew because it was always more fun and challenging aiming at others. Once Phil was up in the air, he swung his bat and aimed at the target on the far right.

Saffron frowned as Maisie beat her to the ball. That was alright though, she could always try and get it back later. She would have to remember to compliment Maisie on her swiftness later, but for now Saf had to get the quaffle back. She took off after Maisie, and reached to swipe the ball from her.

Saffron grinned as she managed to steal the ball from the fellow first year. She was sorry to hinder her friend, but still she wanted to do well too. Maybe if they both made the team they could practice together to make each other better. Nevertheless, Saf tucked the quaffle under her arm and shot off toward the other goals, making sure to keep an eye out for the other chasers just in case she needed to pass to them, most of them were probably more experienced and faster, so it might give the team an advantage if she shared it.

Mary had sat back and watched with Laili on the first match, but in the second she was thrown into the mix as a Yellow team chaser. She hung back more than she would in a real match as she wanted to see how the others fared. When Saffron managed a steal, Mary smiled. This would be a hard decision in some ways on who to place where.

Saffron leveled her breathing as she reached the goal posts, she had made it all the way here, she really hoped she didn't mess it up. She reared her arm back and thrust it forward, throwing the quaffle toward the goal posts, hoping to make it past the older keeper.
