So true.....where'd you get that from? I actually wrote that as a conclusion to a big-arse guide on the subject of minigames I found on an RPG Maker site. I'm already three or four sites further reading soem other FAQs and guides now whee Oh neat. You think of the best stuff sometimes.

Anyhow, here's a part from the tutorial I'm currently reading, which is about Custom Battle Systems! Fwuffy Kitty and Shukemi No Zhek There it is. All the coding for a CBS for you to use and you didn't even have to think about it! It's all right here in black and white! 27 lines of code where others have done thousands of lines! What skill, eh? Now, place your hero's starting point anywhere on the map and hit Test Play. ...have you played it yet? Now that you've played it, you know why other CBSs can be thousands of lines. That sucked bad, didn't it? No way to see the HP of your Hero, only one enemy, and you could use as many items as you wanted, change your equipment in a fight, and any party members you happened to have with the hero didn't do squat! Am I right, or am I right? That's because this is a LAZY MAN's CBS. But this is the basis you need to build from. There's a reason I called this Basic Coding. These guys need a trophy for that. It's the ultimate "wake up and smell the litterbox" bitchslap for RPG Maker newbies trying to get off with easy CBS builds. xd
