~*When Everything's Wrong...*~ [Intermediate/Fantasy]

[Otulissa]

Mirabel noticed that Seymour shape-shifted into a leopard, and she mused to herself, "Leopards, cats, felines, whatever. Cats are always strong." She grinned with a bit of conceit.  

[Furyal]

Seymour laughed.
"Most of the time, yeah, unless your trying to hide from dangerous weapons." He continued to run.  

[high tendencies]

"You wouldn't expect me to have kil--" Alex stopped short, turning red. "There's a lot none of you know, and won't ever know. Only me and Edward..." Hope glanced at Alex, her grin from watching Seymour gone. "What?!"

 

[Otulissa]

Mirabel's acute ears didn't 'eavesdrop,' they sort of...accidentally picked up Hope's and Alex's conversation. Mirabel could feel the tension, and she didn't like it one bit. Anyhow, she just kept running.  

[Furyal]

"Shouldn't we wait!" Seymour yelled to Mirabel in cats language. He skidded to a stop, and called to Hope and Alex.
"Hurry!"  

[high tendencies]

The two siblings glowered at each, but picked their pace up from walking to a light jog, and then they were running. Hope glared at Alex before sprinted ahead of him, and Alex stuck out his tongue childishly and left himself keep pace a few strides behind Hope. "We should keep running until the sun goes down, if you guys can," His eyes moved over the group and bored into Hope's back. "Like you can run that long," She snapped back at her younger brother. Alex didn't even flinch at her harsh voice like he usually would have. Too bad for her, but Alex already blocked his heart and emotion away from this journey. And he wasn't letting anyone through the wall. Hope glanced back at his blank and emotionless face, her own softening with guilt. Alex showed no change in his own as he stared past her and into the empty woods ahead. How she yearned to comfort her younger kin, but she couldn't bring herself to. Not when he kept things from her, and especially things that included the word, 'kill', as Hope had picked out. She sighed at all the suspicious things. Since when had Alex become such a great hunter and explorer? She knew he couldn't tell left from right when he got into the woods last summer, but he had shown great improvement last weekend when they explored this very wood. Why hadn't she noticed the difference? Why hadn't she seen all this before? These thoughts made her eyes sting and her face prickle with heat.

 

[Furyal]

Seymour looked at the two and shrugged. He ran off, and the formation of spots on his back changed slightly.
"I'm a cheetah and races." He chuckled at his sad joke, and caught up to Mirabel easily.  

[Otulissa]

Mirabel sighed, and turned back to mock-glare at Seymour. She giggled though, and mused, "A cheetah? How uncreative! You could have morphed into an ocelor. Or a snow leopard. Or...a lynx!"  

[Furyal]

"You want to see creative?" He chuckled and sails opened from his back. He ran with the wind, and soared like an eagle.
"You know, I'm a mix of a flying squirrel and a cheetah. Seriously, they should make that cross-breed. Would make amazing pets."  

[Otulissa]

"Whoa! Did not see that coming!" Mirabel shouted with glee. She had never seen that sort of cross before. "Now, that's creative!" She giggled, imagining children with those sorts of cheetah-fliers.  

[Bigfoot9000]

Seeing as the party was picking up its pace, and he was only a human with the power to bring his drawings to life. Considering that this was no place to be bringing out one of his cars, James sketched a quick drawing of a hang glider well he was jogging.

Once finished James climbs a tall tree and throws himself from it, well hanging onto his new glider. Flying about 15 feet in the air, James slowly gained on Hope and Alex as the cat and shapeshifter sprinted ahead.  

[Furyal]

"Hi James." Seymour chuckled, soaring above the treetops. He morphed into a peregrine falcon, and dove down at over 180 miles per hour.

James nodded his greeting back to Seymour as he was not really able to talk bird. Plus he was much more cared about dodging trees, then talking.  

[Furyal]

Seymour soared down into the over growth, shifting into a chipmunk as he 'cannonballed' in. He scurried down the tree and shifted a mole. He dug wuickly, but he hit his head on some roots. He hopped out of a hole he made and changed to his normal form.
"Where the acton?  

[Otulissa]

Mirabel ignored Seymour's spectacular transformations, and also James' interesting book. She just kept running, picking up speed the farther she ran. It seemed as if with every bounding leap or step, she gained more energy and happiness. She loved being on the run! But, she wished Myu and Kii were with her...
