The thing with the Wii is that it's nice because any Gamecube games you have you can now play on it and toss out your Gamecube
I also love that you can buy all the older games as well, since I always have problems finding them
Although I do agree that is may not be for as many "hardcore" gamers
It's nice though
If I'm going to sit down and play the Ps3 or Ps2 I know that I'm going to be on it for a good few hours, but with the Wii I can just sit down and play it for thirty minutes and goof off and have some more fun
Plus, I like the Wii because the games for it and the games you can play on it are ones that are great if you have people over
It has some fun and easy multiplayer games
But yes, I think that it will open the gaming world to a lot of people who normally wouldn't be that into it
Since it seems that the Wii appeals to people who aren't really gamers
Although when it get down to it
Ps3>Wii

But I'd choose my Ps3 over it any day

Lately I think I've been enjoying my Wii
But for the most part normally I'd much rather have my Ps3 or Ps2

I'm quite cheap when it comes to, well, everything
Luckily I haven't actually bought any of my game systems
They are always given as a gift
If I did have to buy them I wouldn't have gone with the Ps3 since it is far too expensive

You also have to take into consideration the fact that the PS3 has no exclusive titles that really interest me.

Plus, once aain the PS3 has experienced price drops, it is no longer 600 dollars. I believe they can be bought at the same price as the Xbox now.

Lol. The online service is the same nitnit. Except, big difference, its free on the PS3. I hardly ever experience lag at all, just as with my xbox. Many of the games that are on the xbox are also on the PS3. And the controller is just fine. If you can;t live without rumble, pick up a dual shock 3. Everybody needs to stop sterotyping the PS3 with crap, just because they thinkthey can't afford it.
