Cassidy rolled her eyes. "Mother's not allowing it. She's sending them all up to spend a week here with me. So I can choose one." She frowned and made a face. "She's also coming to make sure I do actually talk to them."

Cassidy nodded softly and cuddled into his chest. "She'd be furious and have you taken away or worse! I can't let that happen." Tears started to roll down her cheek and onto his chest.

Cassidy kept crying. "Mother does abide by the law half the time... especially when its something she doesn't like." She frowned. "Besides... My father is the judge/law maker. She'll have him change the law or something."
