"Oh boy," he muttered. He set the painting down, cracked his knuckles, and began to approach cautiously, checking the corners for ambushes. "Hello? Are you okay?"

Henry decided to go with Andreas.
"Careful," he said. "Don't get too close." He stayed near the door - well, mirror, to keep it open if it closed, call for help, or watch for ambush.

Arthur swore, leaped at Gregory's feet, but missed. "I found him!" he shouted. "Someone, a little backup?" With that he went after Gregory; Arthur was probably thin enough to make it through.

The woman didn't respond and continued to cry.

Arthur caught one of Gregory's feet, but his other foot managed to kick it free.
Arthur's backpack prevented him from following Gregory up the vent.

"Well, Hell." Ro said, coming from behind Arthur and inserting his head into the vent, "Looks like he's going up! We can probably catch him if we take the stairs, it'll be faster." he suggested, pulling away from the vent and heading back to the others.

"Let's move, then," Arthur suggested, turning and making for the door and in the end the stairs. He moved quickly; this was high-priority stuff, he needed to be going fast. As such, he jogged.

Andreas approached and repeating his inquiry, but stayed far enough that he could still dodge back if she lunged.

Ro jogged at Arthur's side and the two ascended the staircase leading to the third floor without interruption. They came to a landing similar to the one below, only all four sides were aisles surrounded by the same rails. On the walls behind them and to the left and right were three doors each.
In front of them was a massive, stained glass window of no particular design.
Light from outside shone in from the window, giving an awe-full sight to the two.
"I didn't see that window from outside..." Ro said, not stopping and heading for the door he assumed Gregory would come up from the vent.

Gregory was about half way up.

The woman continued to cry and paid Andreas no attention.

Andreas got a little closer, in a defensive stance. Damn crazies, making him crazy with paranoia....

Though with the past events, it was more legitimate caution than paranoia.

Arthur moved in quickly with Ro. He did take a moment to pause and stare at the window. That was bizarre. It didn't deserve another thought. He moved right after Ro, jogging to keep up the pace. This needed to be done very quickly.

Gregory came up on the third floor from a vent in a dark room.
He quickly fell from the vent and stood clumsily, running to the door and opening it into a small, H shaped series of hallways. The central hallway had a small, confined staircase heading upwards.
Gregory assumed it headed to the small tower he saw from the outside and stumbled over to it and began to ascend.

Ro busted through the door in time to see Gregory head down the hallway and up a set of small stairs. Ro made it to the base of the stairs in time to see Gregory turning the corner to the next set of stairs leading upwards, "Come on!" he urged Arthur.

The woman looked up at Andreas, her eyes were full of sadness, but the crying stopped, it was replaced by a low, threatening growl as her eyes narrowed into a glare.

Arthur moved as fast as he could to keep up with Ro. Ro was pulling ahead a little, but Arthur could keep a vague sort of pace with him. He illuminated wherever his eyes went with the flashlight.

((The others should probably get moving unless they wanna get left behind, I'll put it off as long as I can, but hurry, I might just puppet))

Gregory ascended the second, then third set of stairs on the winding staircase and entered a box room, located in the tower. In the center of the spacious room was an exquisite rug with archaic symbols, similar to the ones on the coins, in the center of it in gold-colored material.
On the wall directly in front of him were two doors on either side of a full-sized mirror with a gold, ornate frame.
On the left and right walls of the room were three, evenly spread out doors each. On all of the doors and the mirror's frame were archaic markings in the centers.

Gregory nearly stumble onto the rug, "What! What!" he gasped for breath, "Why are there d-doors...here?" he began to hyperventilate, "There's no w..where to go!"

Ro was on his way up the last set of stairs.

Arthur spotted the chance and pushed himself harder, making as quickly as he could for Gregory. There wasn't much distance left. To avoid a threatening appearance, he stuffed the knife into a pocket and kept running, now just flashlight in hand. He didn't say anything; he was going to restrain Gregory at this point who was probably rather high.

Gregory saw Arthur approaching and blinked. Suddenly, the room was dark for him, all he saw was Arthur and a disembodied light. The light flickered and suddenly Arthur was wearing a bloody surgeon's apron, mask, and gloves. He had oversized glasses on and he had a large scalpel in his hand.
He was sulking towards Gregory. Gregory screamed and made for the nearest door.

Arthur groaned. "Come on!" he shouted to Ro, then leapt as fast as he could possibly go after Gregory. Given the fact that he was in shape, this wasn't bad; given the fact he was middle-aged, it wasn't fantastic. If he got close enough he would dive for Gregory and hold him down; it seemed the only option left to prevent him from hurting himself.
