Rikku stopped and stared. "Wait, you know a Cid too?! I bet he's a pilot obsessed with airships too! Is there something cursed about that name or what?" She snorted.

"... Yeah, Cid's our airship pilot. How'd you know that?" It was now Cloud's turn for stares of confusion.

"Because Cid's the name of my dad! See, he's the leader of the Al-Bhed, but he was also the first to escavate and rebuild the ancient airships." She grinned.

"Does he fire off endless streams of curse words? Ours does. Kind of a bad influence around the kid." Cloud crossed his arms over his shoulders and glanced around.
