Almond grins at the Wazzit's back at the reply. "Hehe.. Thankfully, if we did have to run, there aren't any side passages we've come across yet that would cause confusion."
~*~
Throttle lounges on a patch of grass near the lake, staring blankly off into space. One couldn't tell he was staring blankly, however, due to the sunglasses he wore. Although he was a Faehorse, he didn't have the typical hairy horse tail. Instead, he had a long, skinny, hairless tail, much like that of a mouse. He also had a pair of bright red antennae on his head next to his over large, rounded ears. He didn't mind his looks, to be honest, and never knew that he was quite different from others of his kind. As a matter of fact, he really hadn't met anyone else at all, preferring to spend his days either relaxing or tinkering with things.

He laughed. "Yeah, there is that!" He said. "But...I think running into something might be kinda fun, you know? Like a real adventure." Plus, he might get a chance to show off for Almond a bit more.
Christalle walked around the lake, a slight smile on her face. Each of the FaeFox's steps seemed more like dancing than walking, and as she could most often be found dancing if she wasn't exploring, it was perhaps a fair assessment. As she wandered this time, her eyes fell on the odd...male. As she got closer, she determined that he was likely a Faehorse, though he had some very mousey characteristics. "Hello?" she called sweetly, ever so curious abut him.

Rivas had to admit to becoming very, very nervous once they were out of the light. So he was a bit too quick in scampering after Almond to see about those crystals. "Let's find out," he said, wrapping his hand around the Baddie's to help him pull it off. He hoped it worked, because he did not want to be lost in the dark!
Christalle waited patiently as he processed her arrival and stood up, taking his hand and shaking it with her ever-present smile still on her face. "No, not long at all," she said. Her eyes were briefly drawn to his earring as he tilted his head, and she once again noted his unusually shaped ears. However, him speaking again brought her attention back to his face. "I'm Christalle. It's lovely to meet you, Throttle."

Fortunately for Almond, the Wazzit was more focused on the task at hand as they broke away the crystal. It flickered for a moment, but kept glowing. "Hey, it works!" He said, turning to look at Almond. As soon as he saw the other's blush, he flushed up a little himself. "Um, er."
Christalle blushed and giggled a little. She was the type of girl who had always loved fairytales, and what with the hand-kissing and politeness, he seemed like a prince charming worthy of any story. "Oh, I just like to explore. And besides, sometimes a little danger is the spice of life!" She said. Oh yes, Christalle could be a fairly silly girl. "And thank you." She said.

Almond flicks his eyes quickly down to the still glowing crystal in his hand, then at the floor, fidgeting from foot to foot, then back to the crystal. "Y-yeah, it does work, doesn't it? Wonder if it's because you're touching it still too?" He murmurs softly, but not so soft that the other couldn't hear him.
~*~
Throttle gives a small smile at her reply, then stands back up, looking around again. "Well, it really isn't safe for you to be exploring out in this area on your own. The forest just ahead there doesn't exactly house the friendliest of Faes, I'm sad to say." He says, motioning to the forest just behind them. "I could go with you, if you want, and protect you if anything threatens. I do have some fighting ability."

Rivas blinked. Almond's nervousness was making him nervous. He took a deep breath. Almond's words made him think. "Hmm, maybe," he said, and slowly withdrew his hand from the crystal. Better to test it, at least.
Christalle glanced over at the forest, and a slight grin crossed her face. Dangerous, it was? Well. "Oh my, really?" she asked, playing a bit of the distressed damsel. "My my, then I would need a strong man like you to protect me. I would love it if you were to accompany me, Throttle." She gave him a sweet smile.

Almond chuckles a bit at that, agreeing full-heartedly with the sentiment that if people couldn't keep an eye on their stuff, they didn't deserve to keep it. He raises an eyebrow as the Wazzit juggles the crystal and nearly dropped it, having jumped closer with his own hands out ready to snatch it out of the air should the other have actually dropped it. "While we might be able to see the way back with the other crystals, we wouldn't exactly be able to see if there were other rocks or things to avoid, Rivas." He said teasingly.
~*~
Throttle gives the slightest of nods, then tilts his head, the spiked earring in his ear swinging wildly from the motion. "Yeah, but again, this is all just rumor. Could also just end up being a bunch of bunnies and butterflies in there." He chuckles slightly, then speeds up his steps so that she isn't dragging him anymore.
