Silence that only made him more unnerved, but he remained diligent on his actions. At least, he tried to until a strange Pokemon sprang to his face and shouted. "Ahhh! Mareep, Thundershock!" He yelled, jumping back with wide eyes. Poor kid might've lost a few years from his life expectancy.
Startled itself, a jolt flew from Mareep towards the 'assailant'.

"UNOOOOWN!" The Pokemon shirlled. It was instantly fried and fell to the floor. That...would probably to be Aden's and Mareep's undoing. The symbols along the walls would start to move. "Unown!" "Unown..." "UNOWN!" More and more Unown started to come forth, floating about and they looked down at the two. They...don't seem happy.

"What did I do to deserve that...? Maybe ordering that attack was a bit much." He said to himself, now having a chance to think. This was quickly found to be shortlived, though, what with the sudden swarm coming and looking at them. He took a glance from them, then to Mareep, then to the Unown on the floor. "Uh... I was caught off guard?" He asked, backing up a step. He doubted Mareep could handle so many at once, should they attack. He'd have to try and handle that himself...
But for now, he figured to try and play diplomat. "I was looking for someone, it caught me off guard, and attacked without thinking?" He wasn't very good at the role.

The Unown swarmed the room. Each of their eyes then started to glow a neon blue. The floor then suddenly vanished from under the Mareep and Aden leaving them to fall.

"H-hey, aren't you being a bit- HASTY!?" Aden shouted as he and Mareep fell, quickly grabbing his Pokemon and trying to use his wings to get back up. He soon remembered that such an action was fruitless, as his wingspan left him incapable of flight. Extra momentum or maybe slowing down his descent was the most he'd see, but he's yet to practice either.
Realizing this, he stopped and braced himself for the coming impact, keeping Mareep in a way to allow its fall to be broken.

The impact? Painless. He wouldn't even feel the impact at all. It was dark...or was it really? Aden would feel stronger actually as soon as he opens his eyes...but that wouldn't be the only change he'd notice. He'd notice, whenever it dawns on him, that his wings were a grand fuller pair of Ho-oh. He would have a more defined build than what he was currently working on. Nothing body builder of course, because who'd like that? But he'd find also that his body was coursing with serious fire chi. And he was covered in feathers. Lots of feathers. And...like father, like son, a beak and talons for feet.
The surroundings would be of a drastic change to once Aden starts to get to looking around. He would be in the middle of a field, right in the middle of the day. Flowers wafted in the wind. It was a serene.

Confusing... he expected to have a rather hard landing, and wondering if his arms would break from holding the Mareep on his head. But neither of this happened. He wasn't even sure if it was still there; he certainly didn't feel wool mildly zapping him. What he did feel, though... the sudden strength, the looks, the beak... he could've done without. Except the strength, he could get used to that. Maybe.
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry I hurt your friend. Can you stop the joke now?" He asked. He found the serene field and scent of flowers kinda concerning. It felt more ominous than welcoming.

Behind the now currently Ho-oh!Aden, a little girl spoke up. She was small. She was young. Very young. Probably five or six years. Bleach blonde, and hair was at least shoulder length...and full of curls...lots of curls. She also wore a pale yellow dress. She didn't seem to mind Aden's looks at all for that matter.

Aden looked to the sudden voice. Then he saw the girl. Then he looked to the sky, and wondered what he had done to deserve this. Surely this was a bit severe for frying a single Unown out of shock. Having this unamused look at the sky, he figured playing along might make them change their minds. So he looked back to the girl. "Uh... nothing? Who're you?"

"Uh... nothing? Who're you?" "....." The girl had a very amused look on her face. She was staring down a big, strong bird man. But one thing that she kind of wanted to make clear. "You're weird." She said with a giggle.

Cue another unamused look, as Aden glanced skyward. He didn't say anything, but his mind couldn't help but to ask "Really?". This had to be a sick joke. Sure, he had respect for his old man like most sons would have, and he had few problems around children. But this was a bit much to him.
"Oh.... kay?" He wasn't sure what to really say about being called weird. It hadn't been the first time, but countering it was often hard to do without upsetting the commenter.

This created a bit of a dilemma. Regardless of decision, Aden got the feeling he'd be stuck here for a while. Difference is one involved merely being stuck, and the other involved being stuck with an upset child and possibly even more upset Unown. "Uh... sure?"
He decided to play it safe and not invoke the worse of two evils.

Aden couldn't help but shrug at this development, quickly following. He wondered how he got himself into some of these messes. Apart from hitting innocent Pokemon with a bug zapper, anyway.
