She was lost in her own thoughts, and so surprised when she was yanked away. She turned to find that she had been pulled aside by Eretria Whitethorne, the girl who had hit her not too long ago. She seemed consumed by something. When she spoke, Katrina smiled. "Don't worry about it. No one really knows, sides for Ari. You couldn't know. I keep that bottled up. I don't want my troubles to bother others."

Aravis sighed as she stepped off the train for the last time. She had left Hogwarts for what appeared to be forever. The graduate scanned the crowd to see if Will was there already. She spotted him and approached him, Sadie chirping cheerfully from her cage. His back was turned to her and she covered his eyes. "Three guesses," she whispered into his ear.◄

Heather saw her mother and joined Remy in hugging her. Her mother looked the same. The same blonde hair that she shared. The same green eyes that contradicted her blue ones. She even smelled the same: vanilla and honey. "I missed you, Mum..." was all she could manage to say. Heather loved her family more than anything in the world, and being away from them for so long had truly pained her.

It was clear that, despite her best efforts to hide, Eretria had given her a compliment. Katrina smiled. "Thanks Eretria. You do Slytherin proud by showing that not every Slytherin is a mean old git." She smiled playfully to show that she meant no ill will by the comment.

Happy chirping and then his eyes were covered. His fiance's voice sounded in his ear from behind. He smirked. "Hm... Professor Evernight? Drat... um, perhaps Tyler? No? Well, then it must be the beautiful woman I want to marry," he said at last and whirled around to face her. Immediately, he planted a kiss on her lips and wrapped his arms around her.

►Aravis kissed her fiancé back. Even though they had seen each other over the winter it had been too long. At least her final months at Hogwarts had flown by, which was both a good thing and a bad thing. She would miss the school, but she was glad to be trading it. "Do I really sound that much like Tyler?" she laughed. "I know we haven't seen each other since winter, but I don't think it's been that long!" Aravis was horrible at trying to stay mad at Will. After all, he would know it was her. ◄

Mabyn hugged her daughters tightly. "I know, my treasures. I know. Da and Terren are at the Owl Emporium on Diagon Alley. Shall we surprise them?" she asked in her soft, motherly tone. These girls were her light in the darkness, and now that they had returned to her, her heart was no longer blind.

Kat followed Eretria's up and down the platform. "Oh, um, no. Marietta hasn't picked me up from here ever. Or dropped me off for that matter. I usually just hitch a ride or catch the Knight Bus." Kat was surprised at how much she was admitting to the Slytherin girl, but then again, Kat had this weird feeling that she could trust Eretria. Something about the girl made Kat feel like they were becoming friends.

Remy smiled hugely. Her red and gold braces flashed in the lights. "Oh yes please! To Diagon Alley!" she squealed excitedly. She grabbed her trunk and ran over to the many fireplaces. She grabbed a handful of floo powder and smiled. "Come on! I'll beat you there!" she said, dropping the powder as she declared "Slug and Jiggers!"

"A little bit," he admitted when she asked if she sounded like Tyler. Before she could say anything, he said, "What? He sounds girly when he talks in his sleep." He couldn't hold in his laughter anymore and let out a good chuckle. With his arm now securely around his fiance, Will relaxed. "I know. It seems like no time has passed at all. You busy with N.E.W.T.s and me with the dragons. They're all secure here now though. Do you want to meet them?" Will asked as he took Aravis' trunk from her, easily managing the heavy thing.

►Aravis was just about to say something when Will cut her off. "I honestly don't want to know what he dreams about then," she laughed. When her fiancé asked if she wanted to go meet his dragons, Aravis froze for a moment. Her father had been killed by dragons. What if something went wrong? Sure, Will was a professional, but the past was still strong in her mind. ◄
