Personality: As a child Andor was rambunctious and a bit of a troublemaker. Rarely policed by his mother, he certainly had the inclination to get up to no good without regard for the consequences. However, as he matured and his mother began to press independence upon him, he became aware that the world was not all fun and games - there existed a cruelty and uncertainty around every corner that risked boiling over and destroying everything in its path.
As such his personality developed from devil-may-care to something decidedly more balanced. He doesn't perceive himself to be a hero, but he does see it as his duty to maintain balance. This means that he will generally speaking, look out for the little guy and protect those who are much more vulnerable against odds that are less than favourable... However in the same line, he will never intervene in a fair fight.
Relatively diplomatic, he tends to stay out of business unless balance is threatened and consequently, comes across as a very neutral individual. He certainly isn't without humour and he loves a little fun and games but others learn very quickly that if their problems can be resolved by them and them alone, then he will not offer a helping paw.
He holds no ill will to his mother or the sister he is aware of, but does hold a certain element of curiosity towards the sister that was 'lost' to the Nergui.
Plot Plans:
- He will start off as a wandering rogue who 'meddles' in other creatures business with apparently no reason. He'll come across as an individual who has goo intentions but lacks finesse or direction.
- Shortly after he will meet a likeminded individual who also leads a very similar but much more disciplined lifestyle. With this individuals tutelage, the lion will quickly develop into a much more patient and subtle creature. However, this will be at the cost of his humour and social capabilities as he tries to completely emulate his teacher.
- After taking the title/role of 'watchman' he will then seek to carve his own way in the world using the lessons he has received. In the process he'll learn that simply mirroring how his tutor was won't work, he needs to be himself and with this, his own personality will begin to shine through. He'll be less cold, less aloof and much more approachable...just as he once was.
- Plenty of challenges against stronger/strong entities such as the Firekin, Stormborne and more interestingly, the Nergui. I would love to get him involved in the Firekin plots against the Nergui which would result in unintentional conflicts with his sibling! The revelation that she's his long lost sibling might knock him for six but even so, would he forsake balance and his duty in order to avoid a conflict with her? Who knows, only time will tell!
- Some further development with his sister based on this encounter, but plot wise I'm not sure what direction he'd go in just yet so this is a very blank slate for a plot idea!
- No immediate plans for any definite prides as of yet, as a watchman role I want him to be free and unbiased for the time being. Prides would only be considered if he had a major reason to join them.
