Lykas and Sterling made their way to the site of the dome's destruction as quickly as possible, given the chaos of the fleeing people. "Any idea what happened yet?"
"I'm not part of the guard's psychic round table these days so if anyone knows yet, I'm in the dark on it." Sterling replied. He knew he was a special exception to the usual requirements for the guard, lacking in the telepathy department and it was a minor annoyance under most circumstances. This was not one of those. “Whatever that pink streak was must have been some kind of enemy attack, though. You need to be careful and stay behind me as much as possible until we figure out what’s going on.”
“Of course you’d say that…” Lykas grumbled as they swam. The prince’s eyes swept over the ground as they drew closer, searching for any clues as to what had happened. He saw no signs of any struggle for what felt like ages until, finally, he began to see the ongoing battle between Sundaria and the royal guard. And a random Veluza, it looked like, for some reason? “Over there!” He called out, swimming toward the fighting.
He shouted in Sundaria’s direction, his voice carrying the Fairy energy of the Alluring Voice he’d used before. “You have attacked the royal capital of the Gyaan Empire! By decree of the royal family, you will surrender yourself. Now!”
“My lord!” Sterling exclaimed, dashing in front of Lykas just as one of Sundaria’s attacks was unleashed, a shimmering sphere of energy forming around them as the attack met his Wonder Guard, deflecting would could be and simply absorbing the rest. “There are more of them, Prince Lykas! You can’t stay here!”
“I’m not leaving my kingdom to be attacked!” Lykas insisted, watching as Hop took down one of the guards and another attempted to strike at Crys before three more guards rushed in. “Wait a second… They all have… legs, isn’t it? The commoners call them stump-tails. Well... most of them, do at least.” He realized he had heard stories of such a group moving in the badlands recently. A group of revolutionaries against the king’s bigotry. Could this be them? Should he even intervene if it was? Though the tailed one that seemed to be getting most of the guards' focus felt out of place, he was now stuck questioning his next move. If he helped stop them, the others might get the chance to escape but if he helped stop the group as a whole, the chance to change things might never come again.
“My lord! Let’s go!” The royal hybrid didn’t react to Sterling’s voice at first, almost frozen in place by the realization. This might be the chance to put a stop to his father’s cruelty but he needed to know these people had no ill intentions for the common folk before he could simply hide and hope for the best. Not that he felt any of his siblings were much better options than his father if it came to that but that was irrelevant right now. Unwilling to wait for Lykas to listen, the prince’s guard grabbed his wrist and began to swim back toward the palace with him, calling out to the other guards as they passed them. “I’m taking the prince to safety! I’ll be back as soon as he’s secure!” Lykas was still somewhat mentally paralyzed, allowing himself to be pulled away without resistance at this point.

Adrina would let herself go into the dome, already staring towards the incoming guards as she prepared herself for this performance. "Well, hello everyone. Why don't we settle in for something a little more entrancing after that powerful first number." She said, watching as one of the guards was assaulted during their courageous charge. Taking a deep breath, a siren song would emerge from the natural speakers the woman had attached to her. The Supersonic attack would engulf the guards, the enticing music attempting to elicit their interest and divert their focus from their very careful charge. Who knows what a little distracted charging could do?
All she needed now was a few other guests and she could make this showcase and complete display of all of her talents.

The 'Veluza' would take out one of the guards, the Starmie hybrid caught completely off guard and sent reeling by the Dark type move, unable to completely understand what just happened and that it was strange that a Veluza could even use a Dark move.
The arrival of the prince would buy the group some time as the guards ceased their attacks long enough to pay attention to his majesty and his personal guard, duty bound to stand at attention when royalty was addressing them, Hop violently thrown off the guard he pounced so that they may pay attention to the prince.
While the prince swam away the guards had intended to resume their apprehending of the invaders but Adrina had other plans as the Supersonic went off, the Starmie hybrids not reaching for their ears but would suddenly begin to turn on each other, swinging and assault one another. You see, they weren't just confused, but Starmie communicate with radio signals so who knows how they translated the Supersonic.
With them distracted this was their chance to escape and Sundaria knew it. She couldn't tell Hop and his team what to do and they seemed set on carrying out their assault but the Solgaleo hybrid had a responsibility to get Monique and her sisters back home safely, it was the whole reason why they were here in the first place. Grabbing the 'Veluza' Sundaria would form her board of light and race off away from the chaos, looking to scoop up the sisters and get them to some place safe.
-----
Some time later the four women would find themselves in a place to catch their breath and figure out what to do next, now resting in an underwater cave, Sundaria's body providing the light they needed to see. Sundaria would soon take them back into Ultra Space and back home but first she needed to rest, plus there was the matter if a certain sister even wanted to go with them. "So, what have you all decided?" Sundaria asked them.

"So, what have you all decided?" Sundaria asked them. Monique tried to rest. Her gills had gone into overdrive, letting out bubbles of air every few seconds which glimmered in the light Sundaria provided. What a trip this had been. The Zoroark, quiet as ever, had remained next to her. There was Kasumi. There was Kaimana. It had come time. But one thing was missing. "Kai..." Monique softly began. "...Do you want to come... Or do you want to stay? I'll respect your decision." The Alomomola hybrid fretted. At last, the thought of her decision, slowly sinking from air level, had hit the seabed with force. She knew it might come the moment Kasumi and Monique turned up. "It... well... I have a life here, though who knows if it will be much the same after all that." She gestured with an arm to indicate the world above. "If I come back... What will happen? Am I ready to have legs again?" Monique shrugged her shoulders. "Ultra Space is nothing but questions, and Sundaria can vouch. I hope I become a Zoroark again... And what will happen to this Primarina?" She pulled at one of the protrusions to emphasize the point. "But are you ready to still be Kaimana Ka‘ana‘ana, no matter what? ...My friends at Snagem will help you adjust if they need to. And that goes for you too, Kasumi." There was silence in the cave for just a moment, Monique staring at Kaimana. "...I can come back, right?" "I'm not an Ultra Space expert, but there's no reason you shouldn't be able to, eventually." "Then I will come with, Momo." Hearing those words from that mouth started to make the Sheriff of New Po cry, not that crying was easily detectable as the salty tears mixed right into the ocean. The three sisters and Zoroark silently merged into a hug, tails and fins tightly interwoven like braided kelp, Monique's fins gently patting the others, so many emotions in one family. It fell to the Primarina to break the silence. "I think we're ready, Sundaria."

Sundaria listened to the others talk, ears tilted into an ‘L’ shape while she looked down at her lightboard, fingers gently drumbing it. She couldn’t help but listen to the conversation, even though she felt like she should kind of disappear for a moment to give them space. Instead, she would retreat into her own thoughts, thinking about her own travels. Her own adventure to try and get home herself and rejoin her original family. Only, she didn’t have any help to try and get home. Maybe she should have asked for help from another Burnet she came across. But, she encountered, briefly joined, then pissed off certain people within the Ultra Recon Squad early on in her Ultra Space adventures. So, she wound up traveling around aimlessly, trying to keep her footprint relatively light. This had, however, kept her from asking for help in the process, drawing out her adventure. If she hadn’t chanced on the wormhole that dropped her in Galar during the tournament, how much longer would it have been for her to get here? Would she have even made it home? So many-
"I think we're ready, Sundaria."
Monique’s words snapped the interdimensional hybrid back to this reality, nodding. She brought her attention to the lightboard again, growing it out and adding enough handles to it, a notable addition from last time. Yeah, probably not a bad idea to hopefully keep another accidental drop off again, though luck happened to be with them on this one. Again, actually. If she had a nickel for every random wormhole that was somehow helpful, she’d have at least two nickels. Which wasn’t much, but surprising considering the short period of time she managed to get them. While the sisters boarded the lightboard, she’d focus in the cave, beginning to glow even more brilliantly. Her blue forehead sunburst would appear as she made a rather awkward tear into the space in front of her, creating a small gash into reality in front of them before pulling it wider to accommodate the lightboard.
“Right then,” she started, sounding very slightly out of breath. “Please hold onto the board with your dedicated handle, all other limbs within the vehicle while going through the portal, and stay alert while traveling in Ultra Space.” When the group was settled, she’d take off, kneeling on the front of the board herself. Going through the portal, she could feel her tail, that infernal useless thing beginning to shift back to standard legs as the bright lights of the dimensional tunnel surrounded them.
It felt like a long while for Crystal, but it probably didn’t take long at all for them to emerge into Ultra Space on the other side, the inky blue, purple, and black feeling comforting to her. This was where she spent a good deal of her own time between realities, at least what she perceived as time. She personally doubted Dialga or Palkia actually had any influence here. But it was still relaxing to her, and rather pretty to her, reminding her of the night skies in Alto Mare a little bit. There were the occasional bright blips around, appearing like stars from far enough away, only they winked into and out of existence much faster than an average star would. Only when you got a bit closer would anyone be able to tell that they were Ultra Wormholes, connecting back to their own realities. Most of the wormholes, it was night imposible to tell where they went. However, occasionally there was one that showed up on their route that acted more like a portal, seeing where they were going to lead to, one that they passed by looking like some sort of electrical world, with dark skies, occasional cracks of lightning, and… were those gigantic power cords connecting a couple plateaus?
Also inhabiting the area besides the wormholes winking into and out of existence were some meteorites, both looking of stone and of crystal, with the crystalline ones reflecting any light from the wormholes and brightening up the nearby area. The more stone-like ones would occasionally catch Crystal’s eyes with the hybrid taking a brief glance at them before returning forward. The stone ones appeared to look like average space asteroids, of random shapes, sizes, and the coloring did vary as well. The crystalline ones, however, looked like prisms, almost. Still of varying sizes and colors, but the shapes were more… standardized. Maybe if the regular asteroids were here long enough, those are what they’d turn into? But, any pressure around them certainly didn’t feel like it was oppressive. Certainly not enough to turn the hunks of rock into crystal. Maybe it could have been an effect of just being outside of space-time?
Whatever the case for those, Crystal made sure to give a wide berth to both versions of the meteoroids, as well as any nearby wormholes. She also stayed kneeling after arriving, merely adjusting herself to put on her skirt before putting on her shawl, making sure as much water as possible was out of them. The pace at which they were going was also slower than previously, maybe from getting tired from the breakneck reality hopping, wanting to have more reaction time to sudden portals, or both even. Whatever the case, Crystal at least was hoping for a calm final leg to the journey, hoping to take in as much of the energy from Ultra Space as possible so she didn’t have the equivalent of a child’s sugar crash when she finally got back. Last time with Reno and Aden was rough, having taken probably a couple days after they got above ground to just lay outside asleep, taking in the sunlight. She really didn’t want that to happen again.

As Sundaria began to form the light board, Kasumi and Kaimana watched, agape, trying to comprehend. It was, after all, their first encounter with a legendary Pokémon or their kin. What she was doing seemed out of comprehension—though, especially for Kasumi who had now been in three realities in who knows how long a time span, the boundaries of comprehension had been demolished like the light dome.
Kasumi was eager to jump on. Anything was better than that hellish—no, they'd say heavenly—hospital. She'd have said a trip back to 49-years-ago-but-not-quite would have been pie in the sky (beyond the Dome) until she saw the true wildness that could exist within the confines (friendly and unfriendly) of Ultra Space.
The Zoroark was next, clinging tightly to Monique. She had to hope that her return trip would at least put her back together the way she was now used to. Would I end up a Zoroark hybrid with a Primarina? she thought.
Kai was the last to climb aboard, still trying to balance what to think. An incredible, improbable, above-the-surface-and-stars rescue had been handed to her on a golden platter, yet it still meant the end to a chapter of her life. Unlike her sister, made feeble by the idiosyncracies of her final destination, she had found new purpose as a nurse. Could she find that same purpose in another reality? What would she miss from here?
***
The entire crew, at least for the moment, still sported mermaid tails upon crossing the Ultra Wormhole—perhaps that reckoning would come upon landing. Monique was used to the sensation. Kasumi and Kaimana, though, were jolted by the unfamiliar sights, even though they, too, had been there. If there were therapy classes for Fallers, the sisters would need them. Their heads spun like on swivels, grasping less to the board than to any iota of comprehension available.
Gripping the handle, the Sheriff of New Po turned as the lightboard moved, slower than last time. She tensed up every time a large space rock (or space crystal, as it were) neared, but she had to take in the sights. Ultra Space was special, beyond the comprehension of all but a very select handful. Even researching it, like Burnet, constructed a simulacrum of its possibilities, its terrifying edges, its immensity.
Slowly, those grandiose thoughts faded. All this woman needed was home. Undomed, unpoisoned, undrenched home. At this point, I'll even take being stuck a Primarina, she sighed. She gave one last reading of the home coordinates on her display, ensuring they were headed in the right direction.

They did it, the three sisters were together again and now they were on their way back to what would be the adopted home world, all of them safe and sound in spite of all the trials and tribulations they had endured. Crystal for her part had went through a lot to aid her teammate, and while this was a strange new experience for the three sisters visiting these worlds was little more than adding additional hashes to Crystal's 'total worlds visited' tally. However, while Crystal was very versed in Ultra Space travel she knew one was never safe in the infinite expanse of Ultra Space, not until they touched down into another world. There were many threats in the the multiversal 'veins' of reality but the one they were about to be confronted by was possibly the one Crystal dreaded the most and it was not an Ultra Beast...at least, not just an Ultra Beast.
"Sundaria! By authority of the Ultra Council you are hereby under arrest! Touch down on the nearest asteroid and surrender yourself!" A voice called out to 'Sundaria' from somewhere in the infinite. All four women would hear the voice but none of them would be able to immediately deduce where it came from, directions were a strange thing here. How anyone else was here flying Ultra Space would be one question that would pop in the three sisters' minds plus there was the question on how sound was traveling in the void. They wouldn't get concrete answers to those questions just yet but they would find the source of the voice as an orb composed of many rings of Dark energy whizzed towards them, aimed at Crystal's board.
Looking back they would see the source of the voice, a small humanoid creature donning a full body suit, only her red pigtails breaking up the color scheme of white and blue. The 'person', if they were one, was riding on the back of some sort of strange Pokemon, or was it an Ultra Beast? It was purple in color, dragon-like, with a large bulbous abdomen with a long needle-like appendage at its end. Crystal would recognize both the rider and the Pokemon as Zossie and one of the Ultra Recon Squad's Naganadel mounts.
"Land immediately or more aggressive measures will be taken!" Zossie threatened Crystal, implying the Dark Pulse was just a potshot, that she has yet to get serious. That said this was bad, really bad, after all this time they actually managed to find her, and with others in tow on their way home. The only saving graces were it was just Zossie and she didn't have their own Solgaleo or Lunala with her, not that Crystal would expect them to just have them out and about.

Crystal’s ears flicked when the voice called out to them. To her in particular, with her reality hopping name. Why did that voice sound familiar? She turned her head to look when she noticed the Dark Pulse coming her way. She’d direct the lightboard down and away from the attack, noting that it was deliberately a warning shot, effectively. The hybrid’s eyes narrowed as she saw the culprit- Zossie and her Naganadel. Light burn it all, now of all times? When she was so close to being done with this trip? Not only was there still concern with how Sub would appreciate her going on another Ultra Space trip fairly close after her first excursion with Reno and Aden, now she had to contend with the Ultra Recon Squad hot on her trail. Was it her recent antics that caught them onto her trail finally? She’d been reality hopping so much recently, and in the past couple of realities, also throwing decently sized spanners into the events. Probably the rapid traveling combined with that had to have put some pings out there. Light burn it all…
Crystal growled and stood up, turning her body to see Zossie better. “You know? Maybe if you were polite about things, we could have worked something out, maybe. However, since you’re endangering our passengers now, I’m going to have to decline your request.” She looked down to said passengers, nodding to the handles. “Hold onto them. They’re there for a reason, ladies.” On that, she leaned forward, taking a stance similar to if she was surfing on a Mantine, willing the lightboard to go faster than before. Like hell was she going to deal with them while she was bringing people back.

The voice would have made Monique's fur stand on end if she had fur in that moment.
"Sundaria! By authority of the Ultra Council you are hereby under arrest! Touch down on the nearest asteroid and surrender yourself!"
Monique closed her eyes for a moment in frustration. Was this more dream material? Was she about to wake up in Burnet's lab, so close yet so far away? She looked around in search of its source. Who could possibly have the resources to fly through this? The board shook as it suddenly steered down, revealing that it had avoided a blast of Dark-type energy.
Then it appeared. A woman on a flying steed, its build and type unfamiliar. The Pokédex tried to assist—emphasis on tried. It didn't even provide the no info message that Wyrdeer once had. Due to telephone company facility trouble in the area you are calling, calls to the Ryumi Kingdom cannot be completed at this time. Please hang up and dial later. This is a GyaanTel recording. That cryptic message did little to answer anything.
Kasumi and Kaimana looked around, every muscle in their bodies tensing up. Crystal talked back to the rider and gave the command to hold on, and suddenly the lightboard accelerated. The nearest asteroid was clearly going to remain unoccupied.
Monique had many questions starting to circulate. Who was this woman? Was this Ultra Council actually worthwhile or just another King Faba-esque outfit that soured one on the idea of anyone being able to arrest anyone else? And what did this have to do with Sundaria? But questions weren't foremost when you were on a lightboard whizzing through Ultra Space, pursued by a Pokémon so unfamiliar your Pokédex couldn't even get a beat on it.

"This is me being polite. If you aren't aware you have been added to the council's most wanted, the Ultra Recon Squad ordered to bring you back dead or alive!" Zossie retorted, beckoning her Naganadel to speed up to keep up with Crystal. The four women would zip through the vastiness of Ultra Space, Crystal forced to duct and weave around asteroids and veer away from the random portal least they get pulled in it. That said she no doubt would make some purposely maneuvers to try and shake Zossie but alas the youngest member of the Ultra Recon Squad would not be thrown off that easily as she continued her pursuit of the hybrid known to her as Sundaria.
"This is your last chance! Land and surrender yourself! There is no reason to put innocents in danger however I have full authority of the council to use any force necessary! Do you want your friends to be wrote off as collateral damage!?" Zossie shouted at Sundaria, quickly growing tired of the chase.
To show Sundaria how serious she was the denizen of Mega Ultralopolis would order her Naganadel to send one of the nearby asteroids at the quartet, the draconic Ultra Beast blasting an asteroid in front of them with a beam of Dragon energy, the energy propelling the asteroid, the rock absorbing said energy as it soon after became a single Draco Meteor projectile headed straight for them at a violent pace.
One thing was clear and that was Zossie would not let her escape, that just running would not be enough. Sure, Crystal, or Sundaria in this context, could and had frequently avoid the Ultra Recon Squad but this time she had passengers and while she was responsible for their safety they did slow her down. Furthermore if Zossie was here no doubt the rest of the Squad has been alerted to her presence, reinforcements no doubt on their way. Crystal had to do something and fast, she needed to shake Zossie before she could go home least they finally discover her home reality. They all needed to disappear somehow.

The woman was not going to budge. That much was clear from her response. Monique had to admit that it was something of a thrill to learn that, for some reason, Crystal was on the most wanted list and apparently had another name?
But any thought of this as a thrill was quickly escorted from her brain as she clung to the handle on her lightboard. Crystal seemed unable to get the dragon rider off her back, in spite of several attempted evasive maneuvers.
"Do you want your friends to be written off as collateral damage!?"
The sheriff snapped at the insult. The idea that she was collateral damage in Ultra Space hurt to her core. "How do you feel that our world just was left to die amid an invasion of Guzzlord!? Scattering my sisters and requiring an extraordinary rescue?" Monique wasn't sure if her voice, melodic as it still was, could be heard over the large noise the rider made, a beam of Dragon-type energy infusing an asteroid that suddenly hurtled toward them, swirling in a purple-red cloak. A nervous, scared, and above all stressed Primarina hybrid held tight, trying to channel her energy into her body, back against the wall, hoping it would surge forth...

The psychic gritted her teeth as she continued to be harrassed by Zossie. Trying to dodge her was indeed proving to be more difficult this time, having her passengers there. She was getting a bit tired still, having now still torn asunder the barrier from two other realities in quick succession without any real rest, actually still being active in those realities, and also ferrying a growing amount of individuals. She was already eager to go home, and then take a day’s long sleep, at least. All that to say, her mood and mental state weren’t in the greatest place.
And then she threatened Monique and her sisters. Not directly, but in a way that implied they would be hurt if she didn’t. And threatening them was enough for her to break form from merely running. The board would keep going in its direction as Crystal leaped off with a back backflip, twisting midair and glowing even brighter than normal. She’d slam her shining fist into the space rock with all the force she could muster, eyes starting to glow brighter as well. She’d then gather the shattered pieces near her with Psychic before sending them towards Naganadel the same way. “Just back off,” she roared, furious. “I couldn’t trust any of you to take them to where they want to go, you all would probably shunt them back to the reality they originated from! Just let us take them back, and you won’t hear about me for some time!”

Monique, trying to stave off the stress of this unexpected chase sequence and concentrate her energy just in case, looked on as Crystal launched her counterattack. Glowing brightly—even though everything seemed quite bright in Ultra Space, brimming with energy as it was—she saw the rock splinter, its fragments manipulated into a barrage of astral shrapnel aimed at the dragon.
“I couldn’t trust any of you to take them to where they want to go, you all would probably shunt them back to the reality they originated from!"
That thought made the sisters shiver. What was left there? Nothing but Smog, a broken Dome, and memories that survived in their minds. The only people and Pokémon that could thrive there probably came from whatever twisted world Kasumi had been sent to. And Monique and Kaimana had grown so, so much in their time elsewhere.
The idea that someone would demand she be sent somewhere that no longer provided for sustenance or existence made Monique seethe. For all the questions the trio had, these Ultra Council people came off like Faba's ilk. So utterly disgusting. Her emotions nearing a fever pitch, the collected energy could let loose at any time...

"It's where they belong, Sev- ack!" Zossie began to shout back before the remanents of the broken asteroid were sent flying at her and her Naganadel, the toxic dragon doing its best to take evasive maneuvers to avoid the rubble or at worse use its body as a shield to protect its rider, it would succeed in its overall goal all the same. By the time the pair could focus on their pursuit again, the Ultra Beast having righted its positioning in the infinite expanse, Crystal and the sisters were already a speck in the distance becoming smaller and smaller, there was no way they could catch up to them now.
"Tch..." Zossie grinned her teeth, pulling her right wrist up to her mouth and speaking into the metal gauntlet-like device she was wearing on that arm. "The Severer has escaped, call off back up. Returning to Megalo immediately for debriefing. I think I know where she is going..." With that said Zossie pulled back on her Naganadel and turned around, rocketing off in the opposite direction of Crystal. This would not be the last they saw of her.
-----
With Zossie dealt with there was little to get in the way of Crystal taking herself and the three sisters back home to US-59. Sure there were a few more asteroids to swerve around and the odd wormhole that might appear to attempt to ensnare them but nothing Crystal, or rather Sundaria in this instance, wasn't used to. Eventually they would make it to the correct wormhole and pass right through no problem, the group appearing in the sky high above Alola, high up enough to see all four islands. Logic told Crystal it was a coincidence they appeared here, especially since recent wormholes were concentrated around Mt. Silver, however there was something fitting about all four of them showing up here above Alola, with a picture perfect view of the islands.
They were home.
And speaking of being home, Monique was looking a little furrier than she had been in Ultra Space, and darker too.

Ultimately, Monique didn't need all the Fairy-type energy that had been stored inside her body. Crystal's astral machinations proved to keep this pursuer away. The board sped, the sisters hanging on, until it flew through an Ultra Wormhole, its now-familiar blue swirls engulfing their vision, followed by a white flash.
For a moment, Monique had to blink. When her vision returned, they were above the ocean, headed down, and there it was, spread so beautifully. Alola. Not the Alola they had grown up with, curtailed and amputated into a meager existence on its least populous island: the one that was whole, undomed, un-Smogged. It was midday, and the whole region seemed bathed in light that neither Kasumi or Kaimana had ever experienced.
There were other differences they would feel. Kasumi was human again. Kaimana, while she had legs, had remained an Alomomola hybrid, and something in her would soon say the moment she hit the water, she would once again be a mermaid.
Monique's was less a revelation and more of a relief: familiar black fur and legs. Whatever had separated her from her hybrid self upon entering the mermaid world had finished. But what happened to—
"Rina!" That was unmistakable. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see a non-hybrid Primarina on the lightboard, clinging to the handle as its hair flapped wildly. How...
There was one last task before they got off the lightboard and Monique decided that Ultra Space wasn't for her for a long while. "Land on Akala!" she asked Crystal, wanting to ensure that she returned to the Dimensional Research Lab before starting her long-planned island tour.
The many thoughts in her brain would have to wait. She was home. And, frankly, she was tired.
