Mariele tried to repeat her technique, and let herself fall backwards onto the ground. Ria might have been hurt, but Mariele could feel she hadn't been stunned. She gasped at the pain as the wolves refused to let go, and cursed furiously that she didn't have a more active power.

Ria used her four limbs on Mariele's legs and arms. She growled menacingly at the vampire, who still struggled. She tried to communicate that she could stand if she promised not to run. Cer and Estelluna right behind her, would make sure she didn't get away.

Ebony got up brushing herself off she lunged again/

Mariele couldn't understand, and fought harder as Ebony jumped at her again, biting into a new part of her arm. She let out a guttural scream of rage.

Ebony lunged back at her ignoring her pain.

Ria allowed Ebony to take Mariele and hold her down for the time it took her to phase and dress, about 30 seconds, really, probably less. "Mariele." She said carefully, her french accent punctuating her words. "If you promise not to run from here, I'm sure Ebony will be most obliged to let you stand."

Mariele had been running towards them, not away, anyways. But she checked her response before it left her mouth, and grudgingly nodded.

Ria gestured with her hand and Ebony, grudgingly let go of Mariele. "So Mariele. Your husband was killed by these wolves you say. Why don't they tell their side. If they even know anything about it."

Mariele glared defiantly at Ria and the wolves behind her. "Would they even tell the truth? Would you?" she challenged. She'd figured out the wolves couldn't talk in their present forms, so Ria would have to act as a translator.

"Why wouldn't we?" Said Ria simply.  

[Denki Nasu]

Ebony let her stand and Ebony stood there mumbling someting.

Mariele looked at Ebony sharply. "What was that?" she asked scathingly.

"I don't think your the one who should be acting this way towards 3, large and completely hostile werewolves." Said Ria, gesturing towards Estelluna and Cer. "Now what was it you wanted to say?" Ria's voice had changed, the accent was gone, and her voice sounded distinctly male. She was translating for Cer.  

[Denki Nasu]

''We want to know why she has to have revenge.'' Cer said looking at her.

"When my husband and I visited Forks 20 years ago, werewolves attacked and killed Christopher. One of them permanently ruined my eye." Mariele said haltingly, shifting her headscarf to show the vivid line that ran down the middle of her left eye. "You, apparently, are the only werewof packs in Forks, so one or both of you must be responsible." Though she was experiencing quite a wide range of emotions at that point, the one thing Mariele was not, was afraid.
