The new face stood there in a rather cool way. Sorry if we got off to a bad start. He extended his right arm then spoke with a gleam in his eye. My name is Ohjiro Mihara nice to meet you. He held up his left arm showing the bracelet on his arm. This bracelet allow me to tap into my alter ego Wizard. I can invoke his power to keep myself safe and at times save someone from harm.
It runs on a generator and doesn't relie on magic. Instead I choose to use pure energy as my weapon. If you will allow me to travel with you on your journey you will get to see how it works.

The innocent young man didn't even realize that the bracelet on his wrist relied on Magic to function. Sure the power source that was set to run the device was energy. Only such an event as being able to change into another form was not possible while using Energy. It defied Physics and was so obvious yet he didn't seem to notice. He was firmly against such things and thought of Magic as nothing more than an unnatural event. The bracelet had been with him for more years than he could remember. It was originally a gift from a nice old man who he thought was a Carpenter. While this was true the old man had been a Wizard in his youth. He had retired to live a quite life free of the burden that Magic brought.

"What a strange name!" Eliza said kind of loudly when she heard Mihara say it. Then she realized her rudeness and took his right hand.
"I apologise my insensible way of greeting you. I am Eliza, heir of Illumi.
I offer you my frindship and chivalry"
She let go of his hand.
"What brings you into these woods? Did you not know what kind of place this is?"

He laughed in a sort of cocky way. Yeah, I pretty much knew what I was getting into. See I was on my way to a Tournament when I hit a crossroad. I could either travel over the mountains and risk falling. Or choose to travel through this straight path to my destination. I figured I wouldn't run into much on my way there. Probably would have been true if I wouldn't have stopped like I did to check out the scenery. His scratched his head with his right arm smiling in a nervous way. Well, thanks for coming along when you did. I could use some company for this long journey into the city. It is about two or three miles from our current position. If we hurry we might not miss the opening ceremony for the start of the Tournament. I've been looking forward to finding a strong opponent. Whenever I do I get such a rush, it gives added meaning to what I do. The love for the sport though is what keeps me going at the end of the day. Now let's get going, "he pointed north-east to a path that was surrounded by trees. It was also a place where a rather large ogre had been seen running about. The stranger to they parts didn't know that but it was the fastest way to get to where he was going.

"I have not heard of this tournament. By whom is it held by?"
She looked towards the mountain wich the rising sun had coloured red.
"Rain is coming..." she muttered.

Why the Tournament is actually held by my brother who founded the sport. I'm not given any special treatment in the match ups though. I have to compete in round after round to make it to the finals like everyone else. This is an open tournament so anyone can join. If you like we can stop by the local shop there and pick up some supplies after the tournament. You can customize your Angel and compete in any open tournaments that the town holds. It really is quite fun, most people choose similar traits to themselves as
a base for there Angel. Mine is a pure Defense model so I don't have any advantage in attacking. I have to relie on my abilities and experience and nothing else to win matches. It really does make things quite interesting really.

"No man is able to control, let alone modify angels! What on earth are you talking about?!"
Eliza frowned and her mouth turned very thin. Her father had told her about angels, the Gods messengers and guardians of all people.
She didn't look pleased by the fact that the man was talking like a heretic.

Ohjiro laughed lightly opening his mouth wide and closing his eyes. He found it rather amusing what they had just said. Maybe it would be best to show you what in Angel looks like. He pulled his back pack off of his back and pulled out what looked like more of a doll than an Angel. Holding the Angel by the waist with his right hand he held it out in front of him and stood there looking at them with an amused grin on his face. This is an Angel.................

*Logen came up and didnt hear what the people had said then she said:*

"whats happening?"

(I don't think the Angel's too smart, wearing white boxers over his pants! ;D)
Eliza looked at Ohjiros little toy, that's what it seemed like to her.
"Are you a puppeteer? Perhaps a ventriloquist?" She then continued and meant her words for everybody:
"This man is obviously in need for our protection. We shall escort you to this...tournament of yours. I respect artists and I cannot allow even one die. Not even someone who's clearly insane"
The last part was whispered to Logen.

Ojiro put the Angel back into his backpack and zipped it up. He picked the pack up with his right hand and brought it back onto his back fitting his arms into the shoulder straps that were placed there. In a rather casual tone he started speaking while he was walking. See the Angels are used on this large Dome known as a Layer. We use these headsets that look a little like headphones with wings on them to control the Angels with our thoughts. If one can keep there thoughts calm while controlling the Angel they can picture what they want the Doll like figure to do. There are many different types of Angels and many builds you can program them with. When you first get the Angel it comes as a sort of Dollish Robot with packs of cloth. You can dress your Angel as you wish then you insert it into a dome. At this point the Robot is nothing more than a Doll without an identity to call its own. I'm not saying that Angels can move around on there own but it would be cool if they could. Ojiro smiles widely then continued speaking taking it down to a light smile. See at this point the Angel can be made however you want. A light weight model will have greater speed and a more solid model will be able to take more damage before it shuts down. Greater strength is also one way you can go with an Angel. All Angels are monitored before and after every match to ensure they are in working order. Some even are said to gain abilities as they become familiar with there owners. This is only a myth though because it has never actually been proven that an Angel feels anything outside of a Layer. You never know what type of abilities they will have the first time you try them out. Sure you can purchase add ons and such but too many add ons will rob the Angels performance. You also need to be careful of how much weight you add to the Angel. Different models can handle different loads and if you go past there capacity they will become encumbered and sluggish.

A large ogre was listening to them as the party walked on the dirt road with trees on all sides. The ogre stood on the right side of the road listening to what ohjiro had to say. The creature was green with green horn like ears on top of his head. His eyes were a oddly pretty violet blue and his nose was rather large with long black hairs coming out of it. The creature moved its lips into a smile as they passed by him. The creature was dressed in a rather large brown cloth that looked like he had stolen someones rain cover and sewed it together himself with very little tact I might add. The creatures belly button was quite visable and his skin we a smooth green color. The beast wore a checkered table cloth sewn into a pair of jeans. Not exactly a master at needle work but it was rather unusual that an Ogre could sew at all. The creature waved at the party as they passed by him. The creature seem to have a deer that he had already caught beside him and had been ready for dinner before they arrived.
(What a vicious creature, if you are not careful he might nit you a sweater) blaugh
