Thanks, Sui!
Yeah, my last auction went waay better than I ever hoped for, and I think I have improved a little bit since then. I have to make more examples... ninja
I have a job interview on monday in a furniture/kitchen stuff/toy store.. Sounds like an ok job, but it's way in the west upper class district of Oslo, so I will probably have to deal with a lot of poudle ladies.. xp
Whenever my life begins to stabilize and become predictable I tend to panic. This time the attack comes in the form of Ritsumeikan University in Japan. I was supposed to settle down in Norway for a while now, and be with my family and friends and get a good education. But then I found this international university in Souther Japan that might take me straight into the second year, and I really really want to get away from here. gonk So I'm meeting one of their agents in Norway next week, and I might be moving back to Asia right after the summer!
I'm not sure about how I would like living in Japan, I have never been there. And there are many things I disapprove of about the Japanese culture and lifestyle. China and Vietnam have always appealed much more to me, but then again, my course needs to be very critical to the government, so I'm not sure if I would get a that good education there. Has anyone been/lived in Japan here? I'm trying to learn more about it before I make a decision..

۞ ۞ I knew Ori, that if you had a auction it would totally soar - ill bet this time round you will get many millions C: dont have a auto buy and maybe try a bid ladder C: that helps - the auction imhosting has been so crazy it went up to 3 million @__@ but the HBidder got banned from gaia so now its dfown to 650k - Fang deserves much more for her art C: So yeah n__n I really hope yiou do a next one when you have time C: wow Orielle - your so brave - i think going to another country would scare me - i tend to be calm in the monotonus life though.. it is rather borish.. but your so couragous in my eyes - you have done so so much in the short time i haveknown you on here. Its actually rather inspiring C: I honestly dont know much about japenese way of life.. i doubt i would enjoy living there though just because of the sheer amount of people - having lived in the middle of nowhere most of my life.. even moving to a small town was weird for me.. I think i would revel in the games though and the food and the anime oh the anime =0 ۞ [ S U I C I D A L _ R A G E ] ۞

I'm not used to living in big cities either (this is the largest city I've ever lived in and it has 500,000 people). But I love travelling to big cities, Shanghai is probably my favourite. But the town this university in, Beppu, is not really that huge, and it's on the Honshu island in the south so it's far away from insame cities like Tokyo.. I think it could be challenging to live in Japan. It was different to move to Vietnam too of course, but they are mostly very relaxed and friendly, the Daoist inheritage maybe. Oh, and Beppu has hot springs and monkeys! heart I don't think I'm very brave or anything, I'm just lucky because my family has always encouraged me to travel and learn languages and such. So I think it's more scary to stay in one spot and actually establish a life there. My fear of commitment extends way beyond boyfriends, owning a car or a plant for that matter freaks me out. I love carrying all my belongings with me and not really live anywhere.. smile I think my last auction ended up at 3.2 million. eek I still haven't gotten over that. But then again, the winner was a good friend, so I agreed to do a couple in stead of just a single portrait and such, so I'm not really expecting to get that much again. ...what is a bid ladder?

۞ ۞ wow - i think Leyland had like 50k of people i've always been out int he stiicks.. heck Stapletons population must be about 150 - if that @__@ hot springs would rock and igf there where monkeys with you <333 hiow groovy <3333 Well your brave in my eyes - doing things i couldnt.. well no, i could, but id be totally overwhelmed D: I think my mother would freak out if i went anywhere abroad bymyself - she has always made a big deal about things like that which i guess has rubbed off on me D: but its mostly due to her disorder but she also has that kinda personality D: Orielle - your art work is stunning its so worth that much and more <3333 you could so do illstrations / paintings for professional companies i think - well if i was in the position of needing a artist like in a realism style i would totally try and hire / comission you xD you should expect to get that much again!!!! i would be surprised if you didnt =0 a bid ladder represents how much the artist will do for how much gold they get - we got one on the auction im hosting @ points to siggy@ but it needs updating D: so say 10k-30k - headshot 31k - 50k - bust up etc etc C: I've been thinking of doing another auction but i honestly wonder how much more i would get my first one was like 50k i thinjk i need to get a lot better C: but it would be intresting to see how much it will go to C: though i doubt it would go to 100k or anything like that much =0 ۞ [ S U I C I D A L _ R A G E ] ۞

Ah, I see.. xp Yeah, we inherit a lot of our parents' ideas.. All though it must have skipped my sister. She's 18 now and wants to take a year off studying after high school just to work in the local grocery store and hang out with her friends. I am trying very hard to get her to do something at least a bit more exiting. My youngest sister on the other hand is only twelve, and she has already started planning going to Malta for a month next summer to do an English language course. And she has already announced that she is coming to visit me if I move to Japan. whee Gift art of for Jewel Angel, it is her character Kimi Nataki, for hanging out here a lot, keeping the guild alive and being a generally nice person. 3nodding I hope you like it! And that I got her more or less right.. I really enjoyed doing this, it's quite different from all the other things I've done lately I think..

Or an exchange program? I envy you guys! Such exciting lives! TwT I am just freaking out about going to university and be able to pay for all the tuitions including possible residence.

BABOONS ZOMG! D:
Wow, you put some bright colors in this painting. Usually it's a little dark, so this is kinda refreshing. I love the eyes and the hair. I don't think I've ever felt that hair could be 'expressive', but this actually isn't too bad.
Very well done!

Hmm, i've never been to Japan personally, but my photo/animation teacher lived there for a bit..he said somethings they do are really crazy, but they're really formal/strict at the same time. I guess they're more ambivalent than most cultures, which i suppose would take some getting used to. Good luck with the interviews though! xD

With some help from my sister, I opened up an auction. mrgreen It will last for almost two months, until 04/04/08. I would love it if you could take a look, and maybe bump or hang out with me there. heart
I am really glad you liked it, Jewel Angel! You have been so nice to me, so I wanted to give you something good. smile Happy Chinese New Year! Yeah, I went out with some of my friends that I lived with in Vietnam, to celebrate Têt. I am the oldest, I have two younger sisters. The youngest is just doing it as a voluntary summer school thing, it will proably mostly be a month at the beach with people her own age, with a few hours of English lessons every day. Fortunately for me Norwegian universities are really cheap. But living expences can really kill your paycheck before it even gets to see the daylight. mad Thank you, Patrick! That's exactly what I wanted to go for in this, something bright and different from my other paintings. 3nodding Trialis: That's what I heard too.. I actually studied Japanese for a few years, I have to dig up my old books and notes now. biggrin Hello Shikako! Nice to see you again. smile
