Yea, the ones you buy in store now are loaded with sugar. Much better to make your own popsicles (sorbet and ice cream take too much work unless you have an ice cream maker which I don't have kitchen space for). Those recipes look good. Too bad I'm suppose to cut out banana too (high glycemic index food) so my sugar levels don't fluctuate like crazy causing my cravings to be worse...but I can stick to making popsicles.

Haha, yea, if you listen to fad diets or questionable news about food studies. Everything causes cancer apparently. I take my advice from a certified fitness instructor/nutritionist though and I use common sense.

Exactly! Cool! Common sense is good to have; even though, it looks like some people had either misplaced or totally lost it. =^_^=

Mmhmm...seems like it's more like uncommon sense nowadays since it seems so many people lack it.

Cool. It was very hot and muggy today. Surprised that it didn't rain; however, just got slammed with some severe weather earlier and had power flickering. =^_^=

Did you have a power outage in addition to the power flickering? Stay safe in severe weather. We're expecting rain tomorrow but forecast keeps changing. Now it says it might rain on the weekend.

Soo... I had a rather...stressful and terrifying day at work today. I had just returned from the washroom when I saw something weird in the doorway between the garage and the front office.
At first I thought someone brought in a a big furry dog into the office. Then to my horror, it turned out to be a woman in a big furry coat...having a seizure. I was going to call 911 but my dad had beat me to it. I don't know what had happened when I went to relieve myself, but from second hand accounts, this woman had come in from outside and told my dad to call an ambulance.
I just walked in on the tail end of something terrifying. Of course some of my coworkers and some customers had come to assist her.
She also mentioned that she had recently been off of some medications for a mental illness she was treating, and she hadn't eaten anything because of digestive issues.
After she had gone to the hospital, I hadn't realized how scared I actually was until I started hyperventilating and feeling like I was going to barf. I have anxiety so I don't respond well to unpleasant surprises like this. The moment I let my guard is the moment when everything goes to s**t...

No, no power outages... this time. Yea... "Forecasters" seem to be more like Crooked Fortune Tellers and Advertisers of Advertisements nowadays. rolleyes =^_^=

Thanks... I'm alright now, just still shaken up by what happened. As for that woman, I'm not sure if she is okay, but I hope she gets better soon. After she had her seizure, she was trying to drink some water and I think that she threw up twice on the floor. In the 4 years I have worked at my dad's shop, this is the first time I've ever seen him calling an ambulance... I hope I one day never have to call an ambulance for someone too...
