I picked Chimchar first, and then Piplup, and then Turtwig, and Turtwig is doing better than the other two did.
Plus, going with how cute it is, the other two look retarded when they evolve.

SF Creek The_real_Axel SF Creek Charizard dosen't count. Nor does Blastoise or Venusaur. Nearly everyone loves those three >.>
Oh and Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle are in SSBB for the Wii
yes he does in my book! *pets a carizard* i also like lucario, kyogue, blaziken, latias, and piplup...........for a very obvious reason rolleyes All I said was everyone loves them, them being the first gen starters. sweatdrop meh............i wished i still had my mini charizard robot but he had to go and lose a part and then break apart emo

What level?
Chimchar can be beaten my Turtwigs ground moves. Chimchar can burn him.
Piplups final form can beat chimchar but can be pounded by Chimchars fighting moves. Overall Chimchars final form is the better choice. Sure, Turtwig seems superior for a bit. But in the end, just not good enough to beat any real players~
Turtwig has a forest on him, I'd say he looks pretty weird himself >.>

I don't battle "Real trainers" and Turtwig has been the best in-game for me so far.
Oh, and he's like Lvl. 35+
I can't remember, but he's somewhere around there.
