That really sucks. =( emotion_hug

Yea, I was still sick at the funeral but it was manageable enough that I was even able to help out my cousin a little. Still feeling bummed out about everything though and I'm still sick in addition to worrying about the special assessment on my condo. Property management didn't cash my cheque and when I emailed them to confirm that my account isn't outstanding (i.e. they recorded that they received my payment before the deadline of Jun 15th) they haven't respond even though they usually respond within 24 hours.

That is "lame" ( being polite ). stare You do have documentation stating that, right? You may need to contact your bank too. I am not sure about Canada but working in a Retail Store and viewing other store "Check Policies' "... they all ( over here ) state that "Please allow 10 Business Days for the Check to clear." type phrase. emotion_hug =^_^=

Yea, I'll wait until the end of the week and check my bank again. But it would be nice to see it clear for peace of mind. And I also have property taxes to pay by next week so would have been nice to double check my cash flows after it cleared to make sure I'm still good for the auto payments at the beginning of next month for my condo. Wish we won the office lottery but guess I'll just have to be really careful on spending the next few months and then all this is going to repeat again beginning of next year. So much extra stress that I don't need right now with my uncle passing away, me being sick, and things being unstable at work. They let another person go and this time it was a senior manager.

Yea, I'm just trying to stay relaxed and focused so I don't stress out too much. Also trying to take more breaks in the day while at work and keeping busy when I get home so I don't get overly tense or over thinks things.

Aye, planning ahead ( the future ) is fine but not dwelling on it while facing the present. emotion_hug =^_^=

Man, the last few weeks feels like I'm scrambling to get things done/running out of time at home as I'm trying to keep up on chores/errands/work on other projects/dealing with finances/family emergencies while at the same time seeing my boyfriend more before he goes on vacation next month.

Yea, I'm going to take some time off in a couple of months after things settle down at work and I see how my finances are doing. Will probably be a staycation but at least I can relax.

Yea, I'll have to leave work early for the appointment which sucks but our monthly deadlines would be over by then.

Yea, really wish I could've gone on vacation this year. My grandma is in the hospital and I just got an update from my aunt/cousin saying she isn't doing so well even though she seemed to be recovering yesterday. And I have a horrible headache today. I took pain medication but it's not helping one bit. My sister had to go see the doctor today cause she had an odd swelling and pain in her neck. Turns out it was inflammation from stress or something but it still sucks that she has this issue right before she was about to go on vacation.
