Odd was in the Training Room at HQ, busily working himself into a frenzy as he and his Pokemon exercised to the beat of a fast-paced song. Despite it being a favorite of his, the teen could never seem to remember the name of it. He just knew it was one by a band named Red Whine. It was kind of like that band, Poison Ivy, that he liked so much. Both of them seemed to produce highly addictive songs or ones that you just couldn't get out of your head if you tried.
{{Disclaimer: Bands are not real. One is made up for RP purposes and the other is what my roommate and I call ourselves whenever we sing duets at our favorite Karaoke Bar.}}

"Ah ha! I found it!" Sub declared as the top half of his body was underneath the sofa in the main area of HQ. His legs just kind of flopped around as he attempted to worm his way out from underneath said piece of furniture. "I'm going to kill that Sableye of mine for hiding it under here." He grunted as he finally made it out and stood up, covered in dust and what appeared to be assorted Pokemon fur, obviously been shed by Pokemon around HQ, or maybe certain hybrids. "Ugh, really. People need to brush and bathe their Pokemon more around here...or themselves in some cases." He said as he held a gray gauntlet-like device in one hand and begun to pluck wads of fur off of his person. "Gross, wait, is this a blue feather?" He said holding up a feather to his face.

"Looks like Frosty's shedding." Lykas commented with a smirk in his voice as he exited the kitchen with what appeared to be a smoothie in his hands. It was uncertain if he meant Blizz or Freth, though. "Though it could be Odd's Chatot's molting." He offered as he approached to take a closer look.

Sub shouted as he discarded the blue feather. "I don't want Freth's molted feathers! Who knows where they've been or if she was...er, getting her gift from Mother Nature." He said with a shudder wiping his hands on his vet as he looked towards Lykas. "Haven't seen you around lately, where have you been hiding stranger?" He asked.

Lykas chuckled softly at Sub's reaction to his comment. "Lost in the dark, mostly. I've been doing some mental training with Nuregami and Chinami while Odd's been doing the opposite with his Ghost types.' He explained. He was being all nonchalant about it, as if it were no big deal that he and his partner had been missing out on missions lately.

The bird squawked. Lykas laughed a bit at Nevermore's entrance and offered the avian a smile. "On the bright side of it all, I think I've come up with a few new moves that my team can benefit from." He admitted. "And don't tell Odd I said so, but I think his Litwick might be getting close to evolving. That little candle might be a handful, but it seems to be the hardest working member of his team, second only to his Chatot." He seemed a bit proud, in some strange way. Maybe it was because he hadn't seen Odd train so hard since the boy had first arrived with the team that he felt so proud of him?

The Murkrow squawked once again as she fluttered her wings a bit. "Litwick huh? Well that's cool, don't worry I won't tell him so he'll be surprised when it does evolve. But speaking of Odd, where is he? I figured he would be with you like usual." He said to Lykas.

Lykas laughed a bit at Sub's assurance. That was a good sign. He wasn't the least bit jealous of Odd's Pokemon getting stronger and evolving. He liked all of his pokemon just as they were and he knew they'd get stronger in their own time.
"Nah, he's been in the training room all day." He admitted with a shrug. "I guess he's blowing off steam since our SNAGs seem to be malfunctioning." He knew Odd liked to be helpful to the team, so it made perfect sense that the teen would be angry at missing out on Missions so much lately. "Personally, I think it's GREY's doing. I think that AI has it out for him and Sol since they caught those Ghost types back at the Desert Resort." He leaned on the back of the couch as he said this, taking a drink from his smoothie.

The SNAGs malfunctioning? This certainly got a hold of Sub's attention, though he doubted GRAY would with hold contacting them, it was his primary objective to contact all Snagems in times of need, so it had to be a hardware issue with the SNAG devices themselves. "Negative human, while I can't understand why anyone would which to posses something that defies all scientific logic and is simply horrifying all its own, I would never- correction, I cannot defy my programming. Give your device to the one named Sub so that he may look it over or rather come running to me with it." GRAY spoke up from Sub's SNAG that was stashed in his pocket, the trainer just rolled his eyes as the AI spoke up.

Lykas passed his SNAG over to Sub so the man could look at it. "Well, maybe you can't defy your programming but that doesn't mean you can't find a loophole in it." He retorted to GRAY.{While his author stabs himself for spelling Odd's last name in all caps instead of the AI's name.} "I'll get Odd's to you later, unless you feel like pestering him in the training room with me while I go get it from him now?" He offered to Sub. The young teen played with his ponytail absently while he waited for Sub's response. He looked rather like a teenaged girl from the sixties when he did.

Sub took the SNAG from Lykas and promptly flipped it over as he pulled a tiny screwdriver out of his vest pocket and began to unscrew the back panel on the device to take a look at its innards. "Hm? Oh, sure, go fetch Odd for me. I would like to see him anyways." He said to Lykas and stared at him and his hair twirling.

"Ok. I'll be right back." Lykas announced as he spun around and headed off for the Training Room, hoping Sub would be able to fix tthe SNAGs for them.
Odd was in the midst of a training session when Lykas walked in. "Kya!" "Mask!" He punched hard and was most impressed when Baroque blocked his attack with little effort. The small Yamask was improving quickly, in his opinion.
"Hey!" Lykas called as he entered, though he paused for a brief moment when he noticed Odd had his shirt off. It wasn't much and most people wouldn't have noticed it at all, but he couldn't help seeing the slight change in the boy's physique from when he first arrived at the Team's HQ. "Wow. You're certainly beginning to shape up." He praised softly as he walked over to the older teen.
Odd blushed softly at Lykas's words, once they sank in. "Hehe....So what's up? You've been off training in the caves most of the time, lately." He commented as he rubbed the back of his head, sheepishly.
"Sub wants to see you. He's gonna try to fix your SNAG, too, if you'll bring it to him." Lykas informed, watching as Odd collected his shirt and pulled it on over his head.
"Hi-Def." Odd responded, the sounded muffled as he spoke from inside his shirt, pulling it over his head while he responded. "Let's go, then. lead the way."
The two boys returned a few minutes after Lykas left, with Odd in front, despite Lykas supposedly leading the older male to Sub. "'Sup, Sub?" He asked as he fished his SNAg out of his pants pocket.

Sub continued to fiddle around with the device, everything seemed to look fine to him, other than maybe a little dirt. "Oh, hey there Odd, it's good to see you again, how have you been?" He asked him as he took Odd's SNAG from him and walked over to a nearby table, setting down Lykas's open SNAG on it and then proceeding to open up Odd's, maybe if he compared them he could notice something out of place, maybe.

Despite it appearing to have no major damage, Lykas' SNAG refused to work correctly. It hadn't been getting him any urgent messages and just about the only person he could get in touch with through it was Odd and his favorite sandwich restaurant.
Odd's, SNAG, on the other hand, Sub would find full of sand. It would also fire off a miniature Shadow Ball when opened. Apparently training with all of his Ghost types had allowed some of their energy to somehow get trapped inside it. "I've been ok." Odd responded to Sub's question. "It's good to see I've been missed, at least. Lykas has been the only member of the team I've seen in a while now. I'm always training and with my SNAG not getting messages like it should be, I've been missing out on the missions I could be a big help on." He was definitely sounding rather sad, now.
