After buying the two TMs, I looked back and started to wait on Aden to make his buy. It had me wondering. With those two TMs, it had me wondering just how much he had left now. As I waited though... "Blizzard."

"Huh?"

I looked back. Whitney? Here? "Hey there, what brings you to these parts?"

"Actually I was looking for you." She said.

"...me." I said.

"Yes. You. It's kinda important." I tilted my head. Now what the hell does Whitney need with me of all people.

"Uh...Aden, I'll be right back..." I said.

I then started to walk off with her for the moment.

I followed Whitney down to a far corner of the floor, looking back for a second. "Um. So. The meaning of this is?" I asked.

"Tell me something, Blizzard. How much influence do you really have with Aden on his gym run?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"The other gym leaders, your teacher withstanding because of how he is, are starting to wonder how Aden got this far. Did you tell him what we were about? Our Pokemon? Did you talk to the other lea-"

"Whitney, these accusations are about as full of crap as your cow can produce in one go." I said.

"Blizzard!" She said, rightfully offended.

"You forget who the hell you are talking to. Me? Cheat the system for Aden? Like hell. Who put you up to this? Really. Who. Have you even TALKED to Falkner or Bugsy by chance? Falker legit showed sympathy and Bugsy got stomped on. The only thing that I really did, other than help him train, I did give him on what Pokemon types that you have, but from there on, nothing else. Granted, he knew of your Miltank, for instance, but he's been hearing about that since before he got on this run and even then up until the thorough beating you gave him, he underestimated it, just so you know, and he's sore with himself for it. The only other gym he knows of is Ecruteak, but that's only because before the gym run he had a couple of exhibition bouts with Kristy." I told her.

"Look, don't get up tight with me, I'm just the messenger."

"Then who sent you." I asked. "If you don't tell me, Whitney, you know I have ways of finding out."

She turned her eyes away for a moment then looked back. "Clair."

"Figured."

"I am not surprised either." Ryan says. He had been here and had happened to spot Whitney moving at a very quick pace. Usually there is nothing fast about this girl. "I can head on out to Blackthorn if need be. I need to clear the air with Clair myself. " he says.

Ryan listens. So Chuck was in on it as well? That was a bit annoying. As Blizz leaves, Ryan turns to Whitney. "Mind if we talk for a bit while heading back to the gym? It has been awhile since we last spoke. I barely got to talk to you the other day before you got pulled away on errands." Ryan says to her.

"Hey Aden..." I said, making my way back to him. "Sorry about that. Apparently I come to find out that I too will have a couple of issues to contend with while Im out and about." I said. "Anyways, you ready to get going?"



Whitney looked over towards Ryan. "Eh...I guess." She said, rubbing her arm a bit. "Anything to get my mind off of this. Blizzard always has been one not to be trifled with, one way or another. I knew that something like that would of happened."

"Huh? Like what?" Aden asked, starting to walk for the elevator. Easier way down and all. "If there's some issue with your traveling with me, I could go on my own accord or something."

To this, Aden shrugged. "Somehow, I get the feeling another of the gym leaders or something will be taking a backhand or something." He figured he'd be best off not trying to press the subject.
