"Oh...eventually. Whenever we get around to there, that is." I said. "Anyways, come on, Aden, let's head on off and then figure our next move."


"It's not that. Clair and Blizzard kinda...um. Detest each other. And it happened whenever Clair and Pryce got their apprentices, that being Blizzard and Alexi." She said. "Pryce finds Clair childish in doing that, obviously." she said. "And one would figure that it would just be Blizzard and Alexi clashing, but apparently Clair wants to be sure that her apprentice does the one-upping. And...well, given how Blizzard tends to be, Alexi is on the same page as Clair. Doesn't help with gym pride a bit. You know Dragons and the ice type."

"Yeah..." Really, he figured that'd be his best bet. Getting onto the elevator, he'd wait for Blizzard to get on before having it go back down to the first floor.

Ryan nods. "Good to know." he says. "So how have you been since we last saw each other? It's been what? 6 years now?" Ryan says with a smile. He really had no interest in Whitney. She was more like the sister he never had. besides, they were about the same age, only separated by a few months if he recalled correctly.

"Well, since I figure half your team is still going to be out for a while, how about you and I do some training, well...you mainly. I want to see how much you have been improving on your hybrid prowess. I'm sure we can find a spot to where we can train for a little while." I told Aden. "After that, perhaps tomorrow, get some fights in at the National Park to get your Pokemon some training and then later on, take on Whitney and see how it goes from there. How about that?" I asked.


"Maybe that long. It has been a while...it was about that time where...we had that Porygon incident." she said. "And to think Blizzard has that Porygon...and evolved it for that matter." The thought of that gave her a bit of dread considering.

"To be honest, I can't say I've actually worked on improving that much..." Aden commented. Granted, there was that whole incident in the past, but that was less working on prowess and more trying to not screw himself over. "I'm still for it either way."

Ryan chuckled. "Well He did win the match, but I gave him a good fight. but I will say this about it: if he had been at the Mahogany Gym when I was going through my run, I probably wouldn't of made it past him. Would of finished with only 6 of the 8 Jhoto badges. Luckily for me, I won at Mahogany and Blackthorn before the apprentices even showed up." Ryan explains.

"Aden, really. I figured you would have known me better by now." I said, walking off towards the spot I had in mind. "Come on, this way."


"Rather, apprentices that actually were starting to make their stand in the gyms. I'm actually looking for one now. Kinda got started, but well..." She thought for a moment. "...I'm always told by the others that they kind of...well...come to you. That one where you KNOW that the one you're looking at is the right one." she said. "I just started, not really trying to rush, you know? Pryce got his, Clair got hers, same with Jasmine and Falkner. Chuck.....ehhh...never mind."

"Sounds like it's a whole change in how Gym Leaders are doing things compared to when I was out collecting badges. Then again, a lot has changed since then. " Ryan says. He then glances over at Whitney with an evil eye. "You have changed too. your no longer that short freckle faced girl I first faced back then. You actually got cuter." he says with a smirk. He was obviously teasing her.
