sasuke followed still. "nowhere really......." he noticed the girl and grabbed his katana, a reflex he's had as long as he remembered.

Mobius sat in a tree. "She doesn't know what she's getting into... I'm sensing some form of intelligence in her hand... And the stone is only going to make it worse if that intelligence is awakened... Unless... has the stone moved?" He pondered the possibility of a nexus stone having a mind of it's own, and whther or not it would have te ability to move... He sighed. "This might be wose trouble than we thought... I hope Vasily can handle it on his own. We may be related by blood, but Vasily is her life-mate, and is the more appropriate one for the situation..." He then sighed again... "Nythera has probably presumed me dead and proposed divorce to the royal courts... In this time of peril, a life-mate would be wonderful..." He stared dreamily into the sky, as if expecting one to drop from the heavens.

sasuke suddenly disappeared from behind night. he reappeared behind mobius. "and who woud you be?"

sasuke didnt move. "thats vampire number three........the second today......." he brought one of his katanas closer to his neck. "the only question is......are you as friendly as the last one?"

he fell from a nearby tree landing on the ground with a *thud* "i just dont know where she went off..." noticed night wandering towards him and mobius. he also noticed with some displeasure she had a newcomer with her...a skinny sword carrying newcomer. he bared his fangs just a little as he grabbed his rifle cycling the bolt loudly and raising it to his shoulder. not quite pointing at him but definately in the new guys direction. he smiled happily at night his relif that she was allright visibly showing.."whos the new guy?" he asked tigtening his grip on his rifle.

She moved to Vasily's side and smiled a little apologetically at him. However she avoided looking into the eyes of Mobius...she really didn't want to start a new argument.

Mobius noticed Night's shifting gaze and spoke up. "I have a theory. Suppose that Nexus stone inside you is sentient, Night. It may have moved upon will into your hand, causing you that discomfort earlier. When you used the stone before, you transformed into a large creature of darkness, and I don't believe that was a mere augmentation of your power. Is it not probable that a demon of the Ancient Times resides in the stone?" His gaze was still dreamily cast to the stars above.

he smiled warmly back at her simply pleased she was safe and back where he could keep an eye on her. "sasuke eh. not exactly a common name...tell me what is your purpose here?" he moved forward a bit pointing the rifle at him almost as a challenge.

"Vasily, he doesn't mean us any harm. ...Yet. He's just making sure his hide is safe." He still stared off into space, only responding to things around him with basic answers.

She gave Mobius a little glare from the corner of her eye.
"Do not patronize me. I'm not weak enough to loose all my willpower in a fleeting moment and hurt the ones I love. I can fight"
