Unphased by the godlings proximity to her face Nica stood firm and as calm as ever. She took a simple step back to look the godling in the eyes more comfortably. Never breaking contact with Artemis' eyes Nica gracefully bows at the waist. "I mean you no disrespect granddaughter of Vesira. Being as close to the holy one as you are I would imagine gives you great insight to the goddess' desires. Does it not?" Worrying for her sister's safety and eagerness to fight she tries to think as loudly as she can to her sister, 'Please stand down Missy, the goddess will not allow us harm. This is our home too."

Miss Murder rolled her eyes at her sister's warning. She knew Vesira to be an unforgiving mistress, one who doesn't tolerate weakness. She chooses not to rely too heavily on the blessings of the Goddess, preferring her own skills to get her out of trouble. "Nica you think too highly of our standing in this temple."
The Godling shook her head at the mortal, not caring for her tone - and simply not caring about her at all. She grew bored with the exchange, having much more interesting intrigues to focus on in her life. The comings and goings of mortals in her temple were nothing to her, really. "I'm far closer to the goddess than you so fervently desire to be- or could ever hope to be." She shrugged, leaning back and then jumping up to sit on the alter itself, crossing her legs in front of her.

Nica laughs at the godlings self assurance but shrugs it off. She stands and walks to her sister, bored with the cocky godling. "Sister, would you like to spar in the court our back? It is a lovely day, we should get in some weapons practice." She smiles fondly at her sister, as she gestures towards the beautiful trees behind the temple.

The misfit eyed her sister, debating the idea. "Are you sure there isn't more you wish to clean?" She snorts sarcastically, gesturing around the room. "This area gets so many visitors." She laughed and shook her head.
The godling rolled her eyes and disappeared as suddenly as she had come, bored with the exchange.

Eridanus sighed softly and lifted a hand to gently scoot Itri off the windowsill he was currently dusting. The dark angelic wrinkled his nose as if to convey annoyance with the little creature though his eyes sparkled with delight and signaled otherwise. Attention to detail came in handy as a Neophyte as it ensured that common areas he cleaned were sanitary enough to eat off the floor... not that anyone here would do something so degrading. He could not speak for outsiders nor did he care to try to.
It had been quiet lately, at least in the sense of he had not received any orders to do anything specific. Gears were always in motion and the Temple was always bustling with life. Their Goddess had a large family and a large following, both of which Eri hoped to see continuing to grow.
One could argue that the days could feel a touch dull sometimes, cleaning and tidying and organizing, and he could not quite argue that fact. However, he did not focus on whether the day was dull or not; do one's duty, and do it right the first time. While other's found periods of rest in between their work, Eri found more work to do, much to Itri's annoyance as the little critter just wanted his time and attention. "Itri, tssssssss!" This time the Zamphir scooped the bat up with his free hand and clicked his tongue. At this rate, he was never going to fit any extra duties for the day.(Hi, I suck at intros, love me. crying )

The Darkstalker was back from a successful hunt, striding into the temple casually as she tossed a small handful of fangs around in her palm. She wondered idly if the Angelique Tigrin could make them into a necklace for her. She was bone-weary but none would guess that as she moved with the grace of a jungle cat even in exhaustion - a habit that has kept her alive in more than one situation. She'd certainly earned her rank.
As she rounded a corner in the massive temple she came upon the newest zamphir to join their cause. Tired as she was, she was curious about the newcomer and was always interested in teaching if necessary. She approached the male with a discerning look, eying him up and down.
"What's your name, Neophyte?" She recognized him and knew his rank but hadn't met him before.

The goddess had been brooding for quite some time. Changes in the air and at the temple had her on edge. War was coming, and yet her mother was too busy with her new mate and new children that she hadn't yet called a counsel to deal with the threats coming. She was too busy being happy. She scowled thinking about it. She moved through the temple silently, casting disparaging glances at the many mortals that frequented the temple. They wisely moved out of her way lest they be at the mercy of her ire.
As she went deeper into the temple she saw fewer and fewer mortals and the occasional family member popped by. She barely acknowledged them, her focus set on her destination. She made another turn and stopped at a door. It was closed but she knew its occupant was home. She could hear her moving about her room. Why was she here? She supposed it was simply time to start gauging her new siblings as they reach adulthood to see what sort of trouble they really were.
With a sigh she raised her fist and gave the door a single knock and waited.
