OiM - How it All Began

Henry quickly grabbed Andreas' shoulder and pulled him back. "C'mon man," he murmured. "Don't even bother." He began to back out of the room, looking over his shoulder occasionally and pulling Andreas lightly with him.

Gregory grabbed the doorknob and turned it, but was dragged down by Arthur before he could make it through. The door swung open to reveal a wall.
Gregory struggled weakly against Arthur's grip, but Ro came to help Arthur hold him down.

As soon as the men left, the woman resumed her crying and made no move to follow.

The door behind Arthur and Ro silently swung open as the door they came through shut quietly.
The area beyond the door was pitch black.
A figure slowly emerged from the door.

Henry looked around. "Ro? Dr. Loser?" he shouted softly. He tried again, louder. As much as he didn't hate Andreas, if it was just the two of them, they were...what's the technical term? Oh ********>

Ro heard Henry over the sound of Gregory's struggling, "Up here!" he shouted back, hoping they'd be able to find them, "In the tower!"

The women followed Henry and Andreas.

Ro was suddenly knocked from Gregory by someone, or something, stronger than a normal human, and hit the wall, hard. He fell to the floor, coughing, and looked up to see a man, his eyes were black and cold, and the veins and skin around them were brown. Drool ran down his mouth as he swung viciously for Arthur.

Henry looked back and saw the women, grabbing for Andreas. "Dude, run!" he said, pulling his shirt as he made a dash for the stairs. He heard Ro's voice from above, then...was that a thump? Nah.

Andreas stepped back, from the women. He had wanted to try to help the crying girl.

Not any more. He was right behind Henry as they charged up the stairs.

Henry ran madly, trying to keep well ahead of the women. And Andreas. He only had to be faster than his friend, and all that.
"Ro! RO!" he roared. "We could use some help, ninja man!"

"Oy, why don't we just shove them down the stairs?" Andreas asked, slowing a little. "We just need something to hit them with!"

((...The women being Monica and Serena...sorry for the misunderstanding...
But I can make it fit.))

The two women (not Monica and Serena) chased after Henry and Andreas but were quickly falling behind and seemed reluctant to go upstairs to the tower as Henry, Andreas, Monica, and Serena reached the stairs leading up to it.
The women stayed at the base of the stairs thrashing about at empty air.

"Get the ******** up here!" Ro sputtered, trying to get up, his back was killing him.

The crying girl continued to cry and became detached from the storyline for now.

((Just so it's clear that she didn't pursue.))

Ah heh. Yeah.))

Henry smiled over his shoulder, then heard Ro. He looked back and put on a burst of speed, reaching the top faster than those behind.
"What the -" he began before ducking its flailing arms. "What the hell is that?" he said, making his way to Ro while it focused on Arthur.

((Oh, the women who don't post often.))

"Scratch that, I-" Andreas was second up and stumbled back down to steps, catching himself on the handrail. "What the ********!?"

((Yes, those women, something...something might happen to them if they don't start posting soon.))

"That thing can't be human!" Ro said as he managed to get to his knees, "Hit it with something!"

The...thing knocked Arthur off of Gregory, who flipped out and ran for the door the thing came from. He entered the pitch black only to come out the door opposite.
To Gregory, the man looked to be about eight feet tall and have three, bright pink arms and one and a half tie-dye horns protruding from his head.

After knocking the doctor off of Gregory, the man turned it's attention to Andreas and Henry.

Andreas got off the stairs and rolled sideways, in a defensive, dodging-ready stance. He didn't know what it was, but it had made loud impact-sounds from long distances, which was probably a bad sign.

Henry also stood, having helped Ro up, his posture seemingly relaxed. He was, however, tensed and ready to go. This was his usual stance.

Ro straightened his back, the cracks were audible as he did so. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his butterfly knife, flipping it open and facing the man.

The creature grabbed for Andreas, moving faster than the other crazies had.
