SubonicXP The Slurpuff began to pat its belly gently, the patting gradually getting harder and faster as it alternated between hands. Blizzard was no fool however, he could feel Slurpuff's chi drastically spiking, it was using a move to increase its strength to its max at the cost of its own stamina as it began to pant heavily. Misty Terrain? Is this a Fairy type attack? I heard the explanation...did Telia have this the whole time? Did she just learn it recently through the recent battles in this chateau? Hell, was it just being here? I don't know...but one thing is for certain - I really need to get with Telia later about finding out if she was capable of anything else. My eyes went wide soon after though. Even before feeling that absurd chi spike, I knew what that entailed. So much for my theory of this thing being only of a special sorts. It's a Belly Drum. This guy is going all or nothing on his next move and I heavily doubt Telia was going to be able to take it. "Telia, Psychic!" I shouted. I had to get Telia to act now or this fight was over for her. Telia gave a hard focus then unleashed a powerful Psychic burst that rushed at blazing speed, told only by how fast the mist that shrouded the floor quickly parted to the attack.

The Psychic blast would fly towards Slurpuff, the fairy dust scattered by it creating a beautiful display. Seconds before the attack hit Slurpuff would suddenly expand to twice its regular size to display its new found power. The Psychic attack would hit, and hurt, but the Slurpuff barely moved, its new size holding it down. "Looks like my dough has risen! Time to knead it. Play Rough!" Christophe laughed. Slurpuff would charge towards Telia, moving rather slow, clumsily and yet the floor beneath it shook slightly. If Telia had anything else left now would be the time to pull it out. Other wise this was going to hurt.

Gardevoir spoke up, shocked at what was a stout cupcake was now a behemoth ready to lay waste, and for that matter, didn't even get phased by the Psychic attack. Even I can't believe it, it didn't even budge! Psychic is one of the most, if not THE most, powerful attack in her arsenal! Now what? I quickly thought...noticing that the Slurpuff had a hard hobble in its step, not anywhere as quick...pretty much trading all that resilience for power, but pretty much for the speed to match a untrained Snorlax. One other thing I noticed as I looked down...some things don't have that gigantic padding that it gained. "Telia, Magical Leaf! Aim for the floor!" I shouted. Telia unleashed a whole flurry of rainbow leaves, slipping under the cover of the mist, embedding into the floor, sticking high enough to where Slurpuff would have to tread lightly on its pursuit.

The Magical Leaf would stick into the ground and Slurpuff would attempt to watch its step but was unsuccessful. The attempt to maneuver around the leaves and the pain of stepping on them caused the giant fairy to stumble and eventually crash onto the ground face first into the field of leaves Several seconds later Christophe realized his Pokemon had fainted as it was no longer moving and decreasing back down to its normal size. "Well I do declare I have lost." He sighed, recalling his Pokemon. "That's it for me."

I gave a hard sigh of relief upon seeing the Slurpuff fall over. "Man...talk about cutting it close. Reminds me of that one lady I ended up taking on back at the Hoenn Battle Frontier...yeech." I said, rubbing the back of my head.
"Gardevoir..." Telia sighed as well. The cute thing...was a bit on the scary side, honestly.
"I really need to learn about all these Pokemon native here...we can't just be squeaking by like this all the time." I said. "And for that matter...I'm going to need to talk to you later." I said.
"Gardevoir?" Telia spoke.
"Yea...how long did you have Misty Terrain in tow? Really?" I asked.
"Gardevoir..." Gardevoir tried to think back for a moment.
"Never mind. It doesn't matter...that's a real handy thing you got there, really." I said.
"Gardevoir." She then said, with a bit of a smile.
"I think we're going to need to straighten out that hair of yours though...unless you like that." I said.
"Voir..." She then tried to press down the hair on her head, now realizing that it was still in the crisp, blown back state from the Flamethrower prior.

"Well I won't waste ya'll's time with needless jibberish I recon you still have to get a few more battles in. Why else would a hybrid be over this way if it weren't for a purpose? I'll see ya'll later." Christophe said with a knowing smile and wink. "Oh, by the way. I hear you've had spats with Comebuy. His daddy is in the tea room. Toodle loo!" He laughed, walking off.

"So he finally showed up, huh? Thank you." I crossed my arms and thought for a moment. I'm not sure what annoyed me more now...the fact that daddy Comebuy finally decided to show his mug, or the fact that there is such a thing as a 'tea room'. Regardless, it wasn't like I would be able to take him on, I'm still running around with a Earl title and if what Ms. Lavern said was true, then I would probably go ignored for a while. I'll deal with him later... "Garde? Voir?" Telia spoke up. "I'm fine. What about you?" I asked. "Gardevoir voir..." she said. "Figured...go ahead and take a rest, ok?" I said. "We'll do something with your hair later." I took out a Pokeball, recalling Telia back to her ball. The pink mist finally left the halls, and all I saw...was a trail of leaves still embedded into the floor, finally losing their rainbow luster. I then made my way down the hall, one hand in my pocket.

I then made my way down the hall, one hand in my pocket. "That's far enough, bird boy." A man stood in the middle of the next hallway Blizzard would turn into, the person speaking to the hybrid immediately after he had walked around the corner. Dressed in a white tuxedo, red undershirt, red gloves, and red glasses, it was pretty obvious what this guy's affiliation was with if the symbol on his belt wasn't clue enough. He looked like a member of Team Flare but didn't look like any grunt the hybrid had ever seen. "Ugh, just look at you. I mean, it's bad enough you're a hybrid but you could at least dress yourself a little better. See what I'm wearing? Now this, this is style. I always hated the color blue anyways, those feathers...ugh." The man said disgusted, sliding a gloved hand over his bald head. "Whatever, there is no talking civility into an animal. Now I'm going to need you leave, got it? I'm pretty sure you're aware by now that you're not wanted here. The kindness you thought you were shown by some? That was pity. Whatever feel good crap you've been told? All pity, everyone here looks down on you." He laughed. "Now if you wish to leave with what little amount of dignity you have, provided you had any in the first place, I recommend leaving now." He said with a twisted smile, tossing a Premier Ball onto the hallway floor, a snarling male Pyroar having appeared from within. "I wonder if those feathers are flammable."

He said with a twisted smile, tossing a Premier Ball onto the hallway floor, a snarling male Pyroar having appeared from within. "I wonder if those feathers are flammable." As I continued to muse to myself, making my way around the corner, I looked up, staring in confusion. "......" Its one of those Team Flare guys...they come here, too? Blast it, is my cover blown? Does he know that I'm with Sub and the others? No...by the way he's acting, I was just a unwelcome hybrid, just as most everyone else here puts on. "...um...sorry I didn't get that, your suit is too loud." I told him. I watched as the Pokemon came out. Wait, I heard Freth tell me about one of these things. She said she fought some fire lion thing that belonged to some female Flare member shortly before I arrived in the region. Is that thing such a Pokemon? Crap, if that is true, then I'm in a bind. Three Pokemon raring to go, and all three are weak to the pyro should he get this thing to use it. Though technically, I could use Telia as well, but I'm not sure how long she'd last after just getting done with that demon of a Slurpuff. If I back down from this though, this may just make things harder on me in the long run anyhow. I'm in a bit of a lose-lose situation unless I can pull a fast one on this guy. Here's hoping this guy is more worried about his looks than his battling skill... "Well, I take it that you are wanting to battle." I had to make my choice count, regardless of how good this guy is. Weavile is fast and heavy hitting, but a bit on the frail side, especially when fire is involved. Scizor was heavy hitting and durable, but if this Pyroar is more of the specialized sorts, then Scizor's durability goes out the window anyhow since he won't be able to take it. Then Glaceon, who has a bit of utility on her side and can take a couple of super effective shots, but can't hit all that hard like Scizor and Weavile can, except on certain occasions. Though, she does have attacks that will make this Pyroar think twice, but as for long term damage, well...that's yet to be seen. All three is a gamble, no safe routes on this one. "Alright then...Go, Glaceon!" I called out, sending out the Glaceon for battle. The ball bursts open, revealing Glaceon, ready for battle. "Ceooon!" The Pokemon howled out.

I can't decide if you're stupid, brave, arrogant, or just plain toying with me. If it's the last one then you made a huge mistake." He said with a wide grin. "Roar..." 'Cooed' the Pyroar as it gave the Glaceon a seductive look, its tail flicking back and forth. "Well then, looks like Pyroar took a liking to your Glaceon. Can't say I blame it. Such a darling Pokemon, too bad it's under your ownership. Perhaps we can persuade it to our side. Attract my handsome lion." The Flare Admin said. "Pyroar..." The lion growled softly as it gave Glaceon a wink. Blizzard wouldn't notice it but Glaceon would, the Pyroar had such an enticing aura around it, its fur seemed so shiny and full. What a powerful, exquisite, handsome...oh my.

Urgh, this is bad. Quickly I thought. I had to break this spell on her...but that wasn't going to come easy without me just simply recalling it back to the Pokeball, which that can't happen. Maybe two can play this game... "Well, Glaceon, if you're just going ga-ga, then how about show it your affection as well! Attract!" I shouted. A command that she was fortunately willing to agree with. A few flutters of the eyes, a whip of the tail...such a tease. Will senpai notice?

Her cold fur which glittered in the light. He breathtaking 'hair' which gently caressed the sides of her head as it moved with her walk. Her piercing eyes which he longed to stare into for hours. This was true love, Pyroar was certain. The big cat would walk up to Glaceon and began to nuzzle its head up against her, purring. "...this is so not fashionable. An Ice type and a Fire type don't go together Pyroar. Now melt that thing, Flamethrower!" The Flare Admin shouted. His Pyroar just snorted and licked Glaceon affectionately on the head.

"The thing of it, I actually got time to burn. What about you?" I said. I was really going to get under this guy's skin before this fight was over, if anything.

Pyroar was getting annoyed by its trainer, growling under its breath. Its anger was getting so intense that it accidentally unleashed a small Flamethrower through its nostrils, its eyes focused on its trainer but its head was pointed towards Glaceon. Whoops.

A yelp came from Glaceon, backing up. "Ceon!" Apparently, feelings were hurt. "Yea, nothing good will come from a abusive relationship, right?" The Glaceon started to tear up. It was too good to be true. This love. Was it really real? "Aqua Tail!" I shouted. "CEON!" With sadness in her eyes, it made a hard turn and whipped its ribbon like tail around, a watery trail following it, right for the Pyroar. I guess this would be the equivalent to a woman's slap in disgust.
