Several 'PASS' signs popped up every now and then along the lines of code, until a list began to form all with a 'PASS' at the end of its line, and the unit shuddered as the timer disappeared from the top of the unit's screen. A video displayed as well, showing the Captain and the other gundam pilots. Kage notified him of the Zaft Commander, and asked for the pilot of the Gundam to take over. "Captain, I'd like to ask for the pilot of the Atama to take over as well." He was already shaking enough, and if the adrenaline wasn't getting to him he'd be in a panic.
Name: Ryuu Taiki (23) Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant Position: Uzumi Nara XO Background & Personality: Ryuu was an orphan at the age of 7, and since his parents customized his appearance , he wasn't adopted for a few years. As a Coordinator, he was advanced in schooling, but was ridiculed by natural children and their parents who condoned coordinators. He joined the military of Orb sometime after the events of Bloody Valentine in fear of Orb's inclusion as the war dragged on. While he was acceptable as an Astray pilot, his suit was destroyed on the first day of fighting and he choose to become a crewmen instead. Serving with a man named Hazuko, he was able to survive the first and second Bloody Valentine wars. He gained the rank of Lieutenant with Hazuko's personal request for him to be his XO on the Uzumi Nara.
Ryuu believes deeply in Orb's motto, but also thinks if someone has the ability to help others, they should whether it involves them or not. With the shock of his experience, he gets shaky when piloting a mobile suit. He also holds a grudge against Blue Cosmos for his parent's death. He often listens to music to calm himself down, or concentrate. Appearance:

"Calm down Lieutenant, think with a cool head. Cut all tethers to the shipyard, begin acceleration and charge the Lohengrin cannons." Hazuko spoke just a second after Autumn. She seemed to become too eager than her record spoke for. The screen on his chair pulled a view of one of the gundam's cockpits, and he opened the channel for every pilot, assuming there would be not only confusion but concern from the pilots. Kage informed them of the wounded Zaft member and asked for the pilot of the Sasu to switch with him while offtering to take a spare Taeru to pilot. Taiki asked for the original pilot as well.
"Understood. I'll notify security and medical personnel to take him in." Hazuko was suspicious of every Zaft and EA member short of their highest officials, although the matter of the traitor Taeru pilots would also be a major concern to be dealt with before then. "You are now the pilot of your respective mobile suits. Once the batteries are replaced and the armaments mounted, you're being sent out to reinforce the defense forces. Lieutenant, you are in command of Lt. Kage and Ensign Koizumi." Hazuko closed the channel before any could argue against his order, specifically Taiki who he knew would be against deployment.
Once the channel was closed with the pilots, Hazuko turned his attention to the bridge and his duties as commander. The ship had already gained some momentum, and they were approaching the wall with the Lohengrin ready to fire. "Collapse catapult, all ahead full, and fire the positron blaster. Once we clear the wall, launch ORB-10, 11 and 12." Hazuko leaned back into the chair as he began to comprehend the Uzumi was launching for the first time. Straight onto a battlefield.
Name: Haru Hazuko Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Commander Position: Uzumi Nara Captain Background & Personality: A true commander of Orb, Haru Hazuko has been a loyal Orb soldier since he could sign up. Before the advent of the M1 Astray, he was proud of the Orb's military might and felt it could defend against ZAFT or the Earth Forces without mobile suits. When the invasion of Orb happened, he was proven wrong and focused on generating his own anti-mobile suits tactics. Some of which were successful, and he was promoted to Commander by the end of the second war. He was selected as the Orb military's first choice to captain the Fujin, and he recommended his long-time crewmember Ryuu Taiki to transfer onto the ship as well. With Haru's experience, the recommendation was accepted.
Unlike his subordinate, Haru is a very serious and strict military commander. While he knows about the cost of war, he also believes war is sometimes a necessary evil. He holds a dislike for the Earth Alliance and ZAFT after each invasion on the Orb homeland. He also smokes often and has an occasional drink for celebrations. With his knowledge of the previous major gundam projects, he was the biggest supporter and influence on Project H(inode), and remained paranoid all the way to the launch ceremony. Appearance:

After the new units appeared, some slight panic caused a break in the Loyalist concentration, and a few units closer to the Uzumi came under CIWS fire, damaging minor components exposed on the CORTZ such as the main camera and some weapons. "Assault team fall back! Return to the carriers!" the team leader commanded, and the units retreated from effective CIWS range and left the interior of the dockyard, headed directly for their carriers, still combating the Orb defense forces.

The battle outside the Uzumi Nara rattled the ship. It seemed not to brother Alex though. His main focus was on his critical injured father. The doctor and nurse's gave signs that his health was deteriorating despite there best efforts to stabilize Lord Mochizuki.
Lord Mochizuki's face looked pale and ghost like already. Alex began to tear up. He looked at the doctor for an answer but only received negative news. The doctor took Alex to the corner and explained there was nothing more they could do due to Lord Mochizuki losing to much blood and his injuries were beyond critical.
"What do you mean? Your a doctor! Save my father!"Alex ordered, but only got a saddened expression from the doctor's face. "I'm sorry your Excellency but there's nothing I could do. All we have now is time."The doctor explained.
Alex was is disbelief. He quickly went to his father's side.

Acknowledging the Commander, Sammy quickly did a pre-screen on the connection tethers to the Uzumi Nara. Every connection was on green status and ready for detachment.

During the first bloody Valantine war, Japan got more involved with the EA. Conscription started to happen. The Hikaru Family then moved to the Neutral nation of Orb. Later to face an invasion by the Earth Forces. Sammy's Big sister and father were part of the defending forces at Onogoro island. They both lost there lives while waiting for remaining forces to retreat to the Kaguya mass driver. Now year 75 of the Cosmic Era, Sammy is now assigned as Fire Controls Officer on board the Uzumi Nara. In hopes of honoring his sister, dad and late mom.

Following the commander's orders to the letter, the Lohengrin cannon's fired upon the shipyard wall. The blast destroyed the wall that sealed the Uzumi Nara inside. Once the Uzumi Nara proceed out in the open, multiple targets appeared on her screen.

Yaichiro wasn't even able to respond, only having time to blink in surprise when the channel was closed. The unit was his machine now? Perhaps the original pilots didn't survive the assault, or perhaps circumstances simply didn't allow it. It wasn't optimal, but they had their jobs to do.
He watched for a recharge percentage on the Mobile Suit, but couldn't see one as he checked for any spare pilot suits tucked away in cockpit storage for emergencies along with spare oxygen. He still was still wearing the pilot's bodysuit underneath his current outfit, so he figured he could change quickly while the unit was being recharged.
Yaichiro would note a lock on this emergency compartment, though it opened for him without trouble since the machine recognized him as its pilot. After finding a standard issue helmet and suit with a full air supply, some emergency rations, extra sidearm ammunition, and space-tight adhesive tape; the pilot quickly exchanged his uniform for this in case he would be exposed to vacuum. He never liked piloting in space without some sort of space suit unless it was unavoidable. A few cocky pilots he knew during the Second Bloody Valentine War were killed not merely by damage to their machines, but decompression because they kept their visors open or their helmets off against regulation when they were hit.
(OOC: I am making some assumptions, I suppose. Just let me know if these are to be corrected or removed. I always assume that the cockpit of a Mobile Suit would have some sort of emergency storage for essentials in a bad situation. I also presume that for these particular Gundams, this storage would be locked unless a recognized pilot was in the cockpit.)
Name: Yaichiro Kage, 20 Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant, Junior Grade Position: Uzumi Nara Mobile Suit Pilot Background & Personality: Having lost his family during the First Bloody Valentine War and having no other prospects in spite of his fine academics, Yaichiro signed up for the Orb military to help deter a second invasion of Orb when he finished school. He realized that little had been settled with permanence in the conflict and soon found his fears confirmed. Not long after finishing his training, he found himself participating in the Second Bloody Valentine War as a MVF-M11C Murasame Pilot. He proved to be a good all-purpose pilot, having a predisposition for ranged combat but refusing to let his melee skills suffer as a result. His actions during the war promoted him a grade and would eventually see him assigned to the Uzumi Nara. Appearance:
The lohengrin blast tore through the metal that kept the Uzumi inside the shipyard. The new aiming mechanism allowed for the cannons to be angled to hit ships that move from the front of the Uzumi. From the hole, the Uzumi emerged, clearly making a grand entrance. The ship's weapons deployed once more, and the forward section opened up. From behind the bridge, the missile launchers opened and a salvo was fired off, racing towards the defense forces before detonating in the largest concentrations of mobile suits.Once they detonated, their concentrated particles expanded and filled the area, rendering all beam weapons useless in the field.

Hazuko watched a process screen of the Gundam's battery exchange and armament. The Atama was the quickest, and the Kyori would take longest of the three. The Uzumi passed through the field and Hazuko pulled a spacial map of the current battlefield. The defense forces were holding up, but took some heavy losses. Hazuko knew the Loyalist forces were present, although he was not expecting for the Ghosts to be going for the same objective. Now he'd have to check with the Alliance members on board as well. "Open catapult, launch anti-beam depth charges towards the defense forces and prepare to launch the Gundams once they are rearmed."
Hazuko pulled the caller up from his chair and looked to the Communications officer Kitami. "Contact the defense and escort forces, then the next announcement to all channels." Once it was done, Hazuko turned back forward and spoke into the caller "This is Commander Haru Hazuko, to all Orb, Zaft and Earth Alliance forces, retreat behind the particle field and regroup upon the Uzumi Nara." Once that was done he waited for it to change to an open channel to make his announcement. "To Ghost of Cosmos and Zala Loyalists, this is Commander Hazuko, captain of the battleship Uzumi Nara. By the pact between Orb, Zaft and the Earth Alliance, you are international terrorists and are ordered to surrender yourselves immediately. We will regard any hostile action as your refusal and take offensive measures."
While Hazuko knew the two forces wouldn't surrender because one man asked, he would rather give some the chance rather than be in charge of a slaughter. Even in the past, he supported sending an ultimatum to the enemy, usually to retreat or surrender, but the terrorist groups had already destroyed some of the defense and escort units. The Gundams were rearmed now, so Hazuko looked down to Lt. Autumn. "Lieutenant, I'll leave the gundams command in your hands. I will command this cobbled fleet."

The Commanding officer of the Loyalists in the battle near the shipyard received word of the CORTZ strike team retreating out of the dock and back towards the carriers. "You didn't receive orders to retreat! Don't let yourselves be pushed by Naturals!" The leader protested, speaking of new units. The commander rushed over to one of the analysts on the bridge who was in charge of the data heist. There was no data for any new units other than the Taeru.
The commander screamed at the team to return and destroy their enemy, which was to some success. They stopped, but not for their commander, because the area around them became filled with particles and the Orb defense forces began to withdraw. Following that came a decree from someone who must be the commander of the Orb forces, demanding they surrender or face more battle. The Loyalist commander however, wasn't ready to simple surrender because one man asks. He didn't even join the open channel when he declared "We won't roll down for Orb. We are the Loyalists! We will see Patrick Zala's dream through. Attack!"

With the Uzumi Nara now shown in full, the Thixo was right in front of the Uzumi Nara. Captain Asahina quickly ordered the Thixo and her soldiers to create a barrier around the Orb defenders.
"Get the Thixo in front of the ship's direction! We cannot allow that ship to exist!"
