Roll response: Jack choked on the ink filling the water and tried to squint his eyes so not as much of the foul stuff would get into them. It reminded him too much of his adventures in the pure blackness of the vicious deep and he nearly panicked. Just when he was about to start swimming as fast as he could aimlessly he made it out of the cloud and was able to see the rest of the group to rejoin them.

Roll response: As Jack had to make a particularly daring maneuver around a giant spiky piece of coral an odd shape wedged at the base of it caught his eye. Upon taking a second to stop and examine it he realized it was a map case! Snatching it up he made a promise to himself to check it out later once all this was over.

Roll response: Jack was highly dismayed when he finally found his way out of the coral only to find his vision filled with a jungle of kelp. Roll response: Despite all of the misfortunes that had befallen him so far on this journey Jack swam steadfastly on. He kept the mer brothers in his sights and followed them unwaveringly. A flicker of movement in the dark caught Jack’s eye and he almost flinched away. Only his iron determination kept him from dashing off as what looked to be something reaching for took shape. As he squinted at it, before his disbelieving eyes, the form of a rope materialized. It took only a moment for him to recognize the rope that had once been tied around his waist and that had nearly dragged to him to what he was certain would have been his doom. Stifling what most certainly was not a terrified squeal he rushed away from it and into the midst of the group following the brothers.

She had to focus on swimming, and dodging debris, or she'd be knocked out, sink, and be lost to the ocean anyway. She hadn't fought so hard to survive to die here, there was no time for panic.

Roll response: Swimming out of the crevice and the rock slide Velia found herself staring at a sunken ship. She thought that perhaps it would be a safe place to relax for a moment to get over the panic of the falling rocks. She was wrong. The thing was infested with sharks but it was too late to turn around and go back, she was nearly to the other side by the time she realized she was surrounded. She focused on moving slowly so as to not draw attention to herself and before she knew it she was back in the relative safety of the open water.
