She simply stood there and waited s she looked to the others, "I will just stay here and let you all catch it....it is your meal after all.....i am not hungry as it is", She said as she looked onto the animal before resting at her spot. She looked to them and smirked, "it will be a good way to see how much much little Alex has learned", she said with a grin.

Neira didn't wait for any more of a signal and as soon as she'd heard the others' objectives, she shot off to spur around the right side of the small group of whitetail deer. Keeping a distance of two hundred yards between them and herself so she'd be on them instantaneously if need be.
The grey glows brightened as she drew nearer and began to waver slightly with the movements of the herbivores. Her teeth bared and her ears pinned to her head, the she-wolf slowed enough that her feet made just a whisper as she ran over the uneven earth entering the trees.
She could tell that she was under trees now from the dim, brown sparks of life emanating from each tree's core and from the earthier scent rising from the richer, composted soil. All of her remaining senses atuned, she listened this time for the approach of her packmates to know when she should advance and take the curve out and around the prey to drive them back towards their waiting ambush.

Alex nodded. "If you want..." She motioned for Lakota to go to her spot, and had Jericho follow her. They all crept as silently as they could. Alex crouched low, watching teh herd carefully, spotting the vulnerable ones that wouldn't last long. She saw Neira, and looked around at the others, and raised her ears.

She sat back and watched silently, seeing a healthy deer that wandered further away from the others. She shrugged and watched silently, just wondering if they could take it down. She looked at alex and smirked, "she appears like she can do it"

Neira saw the one grey spot wander astray sligtly, but became distracted by another that seemed to trip over itself as it stood up; an injured leg. Knowing better than to weed out healthy individuals, the she-wolf changed course for the injured deer and charged into their midst, sending them scattering.
The injured deer hobbled upright and lunged away, but the wolf's teeth snapped one of its good rear legs and she could feel warmth slide down her throat from the blood now flowing freely from the second injured limb.
Again the deer fought forward and turned abruptly. Something sliced shallowly into her shoulder and Neira staggered back with a yelp, then growled a curse at the buck and snapped at it again. She'd only assumed she'd been after a doe in the beginning. Neira barked at her fellow hunters to close in.

She growled and ran swiftly to the wolf, circling and dashing into the deer's neck. She bit down hard, only holding it steady for someone else to finish it off or for Neira to get away. She hated helping the weak and she would have to test this seemingly impulsive wolf more. She stared at Lakota and Alex, as if to tell them to help pin it.

Neira snarled, a bloodlust for the hunt rising in her from the tang of blood still on her tongue. She lunged forward and dug her claws into the flank of the buck as Jasmine gripped its throat in her jaws.
Hunger driving her further and a yearning to prove her worth to her new packmates drove Neira into a frenzy. She snapped at and bit the deer repeatedly to weaken it in any way she could.
She finally felt the spot she was searching for and crunched down on the tendon in the buck's other good leg, snapping it and feeling their prey fall to the ground under the weight of the two adult wolves.

Alex and Lakota dashed at the buck they had pinned. It still put up a fight, even pinned under two wolves. Alex growled and snapped her jaws into its kicking front leg, jerking and injuring it further. Lakota had managed to get it in a free spot under and behind its jaw.

She stopped as the deer fell dead, just pulling away afterwards to sit near a tree. She laid her head down and then she sighed, she had hoped she would not have to fight the animal and waste more of her strength.

He lurked in the shadows as his brown fur watching the wolves kill the deer, he licked chops but there were to many wolves to take out he will just wait. Raven stood there watching in the dark as his brown fur almost matched the colors of the brush behind him. If they looked hard enough they would see him scars of battle. Raven only waited for the perfect moment to strike the wolves.

Bristling, Neira stood back from the carcass and snarled at it. She licked the cut on her shoulder, luckily shallow since she'd pushed away just after the pain hit her. It was a dull throb now, hardly bleeding. She stood her ground at the fallen prey and growled once.
"Who will be first to the kill? ...Lakota seems to have been the wolf which ended its life." Neira licked her bloody muzzle, shivering blissfully at the sweet tang on her tongue.
....
All of her senses still on edge from the kill, the she-wolf spun towards the threat. She could "see" the new, brown haze that had appeared behind them in the trees. Her ears angled forward and her hackles rose in a threat. Her vacant azure eyes narrowed to slits as she tried to feel the intentions of the hidden wolf from his scent.

Raven had been spotted but he did not care. Hw sat down with is eyes locked onto Neira just waiting for her to jump at him and attack. His face was soft trying not to alarm the wolves. His breath shortened to a stop, he was like a branch that didn't match.

Alex looked at Neira, and that she was watching sonething nearby, looking ready to fight. Her own hackles rose a little, and she glanced where she was looking.
Lakota padded over to stand behind Lakota, suddenly anxious and paranoid. She kept behind Alex, also making sure Jericho was safe. They both kept up a charade of not really noticing whatever was watching them.

Not a movment came from Raven he just stayed in his spot. He only watched Neira. He knew that she could attack anytime. He wanted food but he didn't want the others to be following him all the time. So he took a simple breath and just kept waiting.
