Ral Roke Johnny Malone Ral Roke Johnny Malone Ral Roke Still funny that your city friends thought you we're a redneck until they met us. Yeah, I'm a redneck, but you guys are REDneck. (At least Dover and Cale, not so much you Ral) I know. They had more experience with farm work than me. We moved off before I started seriously helping with the chores. Still, I did show dairy cattle throughout my 4-H career. I guess I am more blue collar than a pure farm boy redneck. I have a lot of experience with plumbing and heating and only some farm work experience (nothing compared to Cale or even Dover) You didn't have to cut up animals for eight hours everyday in the summer either. Most boring job ever. Not too mention how goddamn hot it was in there and I was in the coolest part of the plant not including the coolers. Yeah I did plumbing and heating work in the hot sun. It was hard but I don't envy the boredom or the mess that you had to work in. At least my work was interesting (In my view)

And you could F***ING talk to each other. Goddamn I hated wearing those earplugs everyday. And it was actually cooler outside than it was in the plant, trust me. Every time I left the plant it was like the temperature dropped 20 degrees thanks to the humidity in there.

Every time I left the plant it was like the temperature dropped 20 degrees thanks to the humidity in there. True joking around with the others was a highlight. That had to be murder in there especially on the days it got up to 100 outside.

Truthfully I have no idea if it was hotter temperature-wise but it felt hotter do to all the steam from the pools of water for sanitizing as well as the heat from all the bodies, live or dead. And you have no idea how boring it is to not be able to talk except for like thirty minutes. I had a hard enough time understanding my boss when he was next to me yelling. The closest person was like twenty feet away normally or on the other side of a machine.
