I sweatdropped. "Apparently you don't exactly have a grasp on what you can crank out." I said to him. "You're going to have to at one point or another, you know. You may want to practice on that. At any rate...alright, finally..." I then thought for a moment. "Be right back." Well Aden conviently decided to do hedge trimming, might as well make use of it. I went over and grabbed the tree that Aden downed and started to drag it, slowly but surely. I was strong. Hell, I could punch someone one shot down the street if it came to it. I wasn't a freakin Machamp though.
It took a few minutes before I made it back to the beach and then sent out Scizor and Riolu. It took a few more minutes of work on the tree to cut the branches and Riolu digging a hole so Scizor and I could mount the tree. "Thanks you two. Return" I said. "Alright, next up. Psychic. You tend to tend to favor on making your Psychic akin to a mental brass knuckles or greaves. Now, I want you to Calm mind that, too, and go to town on this thing." I said, patting the log.

"Yeah, I'll be sure to." Aden commented. He'd rather not fall over like that again. Didn't help that he seemed to keep learning just how much he truly held back without meaning to. Seeing Blizzard walk off, though, he wasn't sure what to make of it.
That is, until he came back with Scizor and Riolu and found out why the tree was taken back over here. "Look, Blizz, if you want wood that bad, there's other ways."
It took only a few seconds for Aden to realize how that came out. "...Nevermind." Instead, he started his focus, singling out the celestial chi in him. He let it amplify as per the current norm, part of it moving to one of his fists. At that point, he gave the log a punch as a test.

I saw him give the Psychic infused punch to the tree, seeing it take a bit of damage. "Was that with Calm Mind, Aden?" I asked, staring in confusion.

Ryan finishes polishing his badges. They look as good as they day he got them. He then puts his badge case back in his pack and shoulders it. Well, he could go meet up with Blizz and Aden. Ryan flips open his SNAG and calls Blizz.
"Hey there Blizzard. Where are you and Aden?" he asks.

RCCaughtem Ryan finishes polishing his badges. They look as good as they day he got them. He then puts his badge case back in his pack and shoulders it. Well, he could go meet up with Blizz and Aden. Ryan flips open his SNAG and calls Blizz. "Hey there Blizzard. Where are you and Aden?" he asks. I looked down towards my pocket then pulled it out real quick and overheard Ryan. "Uh, we're back south a little. The beach near the daycare." I said to him. "Just helping Aden train his hybrid prowess."

He stopped a safe distance away, making sure he wasn't in any line of fire.

Now that he knew he was, though, he decided to stop holding back and let the chi flood into his arms. It wasn't long before he threw another punch, using the bolstered chi to further it along. His fist, however, didn't seem to hit the log at all so much as the Psychic attack being channeled.

"Not too bad..." Aden spoke up. He had a feeling the lesson itself would be a fair bit more rough, though. He waved at Ryan after noticing him, letting the Calm Mind wear off for now.

Instead of hands and feet. What of say your elbows? Knees? How about back-hands?" I asked, looking back towards Ryan for a second then back towards Aden. Ryan would watch quietly. He knew what Blizz was saying: in a fight, you had to be unpredictable to gain advantages. Ryan would walk back some before sitting down on the grass, setting his pack next to him.

"...I can't say I've thought of it, no." He replied. Back when the attack was first in mind, it was mostly with a punch or kick in mind. But mixing it differently wasn't a foreign concept to him.
