i was myself

and do my hair

the clothes i wear
the shoes i skate in
the music i listen to
it;s all classified as 'scene.'
so i am myself

i want to be seen
i want attention
i want to walk down the street with all my scene friends
and have the older people hate me
i want to wear my clothes
and blend in with all my friends,

i like wearing straight-legged
pants that fit
and t shirts with bands that i like
and hoodies
i like shoes

i call myself scene
