Carnutian Forest Rosalind Hawk Taken, albeit very confused.
I love my girlfriend to bits, and we've been dating for five months- however we don't talk a bunch, which is a strain on our relationship since she lives in North Carolina while I'm in Florida.
90% of the time it feels like I'm single. sweatdrop That sucks. Ive been with my gf for about 5 months also, we don't talk every minute of everyday, but we still talk a fair bit. But i guess thats also because we live about 10mins apart. Maybe you should talk to her about these 'communication' problems.
-She works and attends school. I don't.
-She has her own house but her mother and sister live with her as well.
-She has a 5 year old daughter (5 as of Nov. 12th)
-She's pregnant again- Not cheating, it happened before we were official.The kid stuff is a long story. She's older than me, by the way.That being said, these are all valid reasons for us not frequently conversing. She's very busy, and I'll have to live with that- however the distance really doesn't help. If we were closer, we'd probably be more able to fit some things in, you know?
*sigh*
It can't really be fixed right now. I suppose all that's left to do is keep talking when we get the chance and hope the lack of contact doesn't destroy our relationship.
If things stay good, however, it might be a good idea to consider attending college in NC. I don't have a specific college choice right now that's definite, so my options are definitely open- especially since my family is relatively poor and Florida is very expensive.
