Jewel: I actually don't mind sitting still for a long time as long as I have the entertainment. I prefer trains though, because you can wander around if you get too bored/your legs fall asleep. We're flying in to Cuba, and from there the plan is Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. All this in two months... eek This route isn't final though, neither of us have been to South America before, so we'll probably decide most of it as we go. Cavities suck. gonk I think I've had four, plus some small ones that kind of fixed themselves. I'm really scared of dentists after this horrible lady I went to some years ago. She broke me, my mom had to trick me into going last year.. She booked it for me, and didn't let me know until ten minutes before I had to go in.. xp Jahni: I really liked your work, but I can't take any trades at the moment... Exams and work are killing me. sad Patrick: Cool, I'll go and take a look! biggrin To prevent myself from going insane, I've been drawing a bit in between all the writing I have to do (10 000 words on ecotourism due this friday, and I'm only 30% done. gonk ). I'm a bit stuck now though, any ideas for what I can do with her hair and the background?  Gah, my cmputer is acting funny again.. This drawing is actually pretty saturated in photoshop, but the jpg changes it completely... Does she look too grayish to you? I'd appreciate any help, this drawing has been my therapy for the past two weeks.. smile

Good luck with yer writing thing, then.
Anyway, the drawing is fine. All I can think of is the hair, and maybe some more detail in the face. Otherwise, you could leave it as it is and it'd still be perfect. 3nodding

Omg! Lucky! That's one heck of a vacation! Wait, or is it for your studies? That sounds so fun. ;0; Maybe I should consider doing travel studies when I'm older...
I hate it when I drink/eat something cold/hot because it would stings the fill-ins. Very painful for that split second.
Her face is gorgeous! *0* Maybe like a really rich vibrant red colour for her hair? Or rich platinum blonde? ><; Not so good with this stuff. D: I think the background should be like mellow.

I finnally finished that massive paper... At 5 am on the day of the deadline of course. xp
Yesterday was the National Day of Norway, so there was a huge celebration with marching bands and 100 000 kids following them, and the royal family, a lot of alcohol and very little sleep. Must be cool to be a foreigner and see it though, no matter where you turned, even on the subway, almost everyone was wearing old-fashioned national costumes.. It's a bit weird, I wish I had brought my camera..
Thanks for the comments about the painting, I haven't worked much more on it yet, but I hope I'll get to finish it this week. Exams are coming up though, so I have a looot of reading to do.
Tervasulka: We will be doing a bit of everything, trekking, museums, cities, National Parks, white water rafting, surfing, diving and just talking to the people we meet on the way..
Jewel: It is just a vacation, but it is an area I learn a lot about in my studies as well, so hopefully I'll learn something too, or at least I will see how the things I have studied work out in real life. I have a few more ideas for the painting, but I'll probably make her platinum blonde. Thanks for the input!
