"Oh har-de-har-har." I said, shaking my head. "Anyways, we'll be going back over this perhaps next time we do have at it. Until then, we may want to go check up on your Pokemon. We've been away for a little while. For that matter, we may just want to call it a day and for that matter if they're up and able, show your Scyther to the ones back at the Pokemon Center." I said.

I started to walk off then look back towards Ryan. "Hey, Ryan, we're heading back to the Pokemon Center. You coming?" I asked. I then continued on back towards town. If anything, Aden must be tired at this point.

I walked off back into the city and off back for the Pokemon Center. Once there, I made my way to the counter and reserved a room for another night. "Alright, Aden, go see your Pokemon. I'll see you shortly..." I said, making my way off. I was getting hungry now...

With another day down, I went to go pay for a meal and had at it with Pokemon Center food once again. Apparently they set it up to build your own sandwich anyway you like it. Different meats were laid about, as well as the cheeses, veggies, and condiments. Grabbing the bread, which looks to be meant for half a sub sandwich, I went for various meats. Turkey, roast beef, ham, swiss cheese, and mayo. I was simple, as usual. A bag of chips to go with it and a Coke and I was content...

I sat at a table and looked towards the ceiling for a moment. "......I wonder how Aden is doing at this point..." I mused.

"That he is, actually." I said to him. "A severe improvement from when we first met and all. Though incidentally, what THAT in particular was all about back there was for him to use Chi at an instant." I said to him. "For that matter, get more use out of his attacks for that matter."

"Ryan, you don't need chi to win a fight." I said, looking up at him. "Sure it HELPS, you and I aren't going to deny this, and sure, one, say a hybrid, would prove to be troublesome to handle for you, but what boils down to the end is experience." I said. "Simply put. Its what you do with your skills, not just the fact that you can use them." I said. "Hell, Ryan, you being around us, you probably could hold your own against a hybrid, because you would come to know what to expect for the most part. Pokemon attacks and abilities one may have, but in the end, we're all still generally human with the flaws to come with it."

"Well, anyway. There's someone for you three to meet. Geodude and Raticate already got a chance to-"

"(If you mean our fourth inhabitant, you're a few minutes late. He has been silent the whole time.)"

A cursory glance revealed that Scyther was indeed in the room. Having recovered and all, he stood at a corner. "...Oh."

"(About time you showed up. Blue over there's fine, but the other two-)"

"Finish what you're about to say, and you're going to get a crash course in Psychic in ways that'll make your head spin. Nidoran and Flaaffy's had enough at the gym, and besides, they're no more perfect than you are. And that's not much, so quiet."

Scyther quickly shut up, making a mental note to further avoid getting Aden riled up. "But while we're on the topic of thoughts, Nidoran, Flaaffy. Are you two going to be alright with a rematch? I don't need you two fighting each other in the middle of a battle."

Both of them nodded, knowing good and well what'd happen otherwise if Poliwhirl was involved. "Good... now, since I doubt he's introduced himself much, that's Scyther. Scyther, as you can already see, this is the rest of my team."

A few exchanges were sure to follow, but things seemed to be decent. Somewhat. Depends on how well you take an increasingly unlikely set of Pokemon in the same room.

"who knows? But if head off to Hoenn or Sinnoh, I am going with him. I have been out to those parts of the world, so I know very little about them and the pokemon that inhabit them." Ryan says with a shrug.
