Sui: The really cold night there was -5 degrees in our room, so I had two sleeping bags, all my alpaca clothes, 8 blankets and a warm Irish guy with a very cute accent. smile So I survived.. Patrick: It is very good to be back! biggrin But a lot has happened and I have done so many cool things; paragliding in the Andes, mountain biking, swimming in hot springs, smoking cigars on the porch in Havana, stargazing in the Chilean desert, dancing in an Argentinian gay club with an open bar and 500 guests, horseriding into the sunset in Valle de la Muerte, aaand a lot more. mrgreen I've really missed painting! I plan to do a lot more of it this year.. This is what I'm working on now, and I kind of like it so far. But I have no idea about what to do about her hair or the background, any ideas?

Oh, man, this is amazing. Maybe keep him bald and put some mirrors behind him? I don't know, it's already going so perfectly!
Those two drawings in your Deviantart account? Amazing. Unbelievably lifelike. I literally had to stare at it for a few moments before I could tell that it was a painting.

yay ori <33 well, for her hair i suggest possibly long black hair that covers parts of her and such? just what i envision <3 her hand is stunning byzeway @__@

Thanks, Patrick, but it is actually a girl.. Mirrors would be really cool! I might try that even if it would be difficult without reference pictures.
I like the long dark hair idea, Sui. Especially since I just found out my model is only 16, so I will definitely need to cover her up a bit! Her hands are what I like the most about this, I thought I didn't know how to paint hands, but I guess i just never really tried.. whee
I'd love to do a chibi trade! Haven't drawn a chibi in a very long time.. And I really like yours!

I agree with Sui that long hair would be amazing, though I've always been a brunette, dark red, sort of girl.
You are such an amazing painter. I am envious. sweatdrop I suck with most anything artistic, except sketching and writing.
There are so many amazing artists to watch in this website, I keep forgetting to bookmark the ones I make messages in and then loose track. ::bookmarking.... now!::
