Shore grasped onto his wrist, shaking her head silently. She held out her finger and said, "Why not me instead? We don't need you to get sick again..."

She shook her head and held out her finger again, gently turning him to face her. "It's ok...I'll push you away when I start to feel dizzy ok? I won't let you lose it." Her smile was warm, trusting.

"Well, I TRUST YOU. Isn't that enough?" She pulled on a slight pout, wiggling her index finger invitingly towards him. She hated to see anyone in pain and sadness, even if they were a vampire.

He hid his face with his arm and began to hobble away, almost scared of what he could do.

Finally, he got up, his back turned to everyone. "I am not well. Forgive me for my behaviour. I need some time alone." He walked through the forest until he reached a clearing. Putting up his hood, he went and sat in the middle of it. He looked around, making sure nobody was there. Then, he pulled out a peculiar gun of some sort. It seemed to fire silver stakes. Looking around again, he stuck the barrel in his mouth, his finger on the trigger. It began to squeeze...
...Then it stopped. He couldn't do it! Why? Why couldn't he just finish it all now? He didn't understand, and it hurt him deeply. Barrel still in his mouth, he began to cry...

He threw the gun away, disgusted with himself. As it hit the ground, the pressure triggered it, and a silver stake shot through his right eye and exited out the back of his head forcefully. As the silver nitrate burned the wound to prevent healing, black blood gushed everywhere. He let out a cry of anguish, hand over the space where the eye used to be. Things started to fade in and out...
(All right, students: Tell me, what does the right side of the brain control?)

Lore looked at Sasuke, her eyes softened and she patted his shoulder gently. She heard a cry, and her eyes widened to large proportions, staring up at Sasuke, her lips wordlessly forming Mobius's name.

(Incorrect. The answer is... emotional response. DUN-DUNDAHHHH!!!)
His screams reached an elevated state, become a high pitched, almost mechanical whine, shrill and piercing. He swayed in his pain and confusion, and staggered almost to the point of falling over on several occasions. He reached where everyone else was, silver wound still smoking, and passed out.
(That wound will never heal... However, doctors say there is a good chance that in time the other hemisphere of the brain learns to perform the functions of the damaged half... There is also a good chance that such a thing will never happen...)
