She did it again. Running at top speed and curled up into a little ball. She squealed once she hit water and laughed, shaking herself off and looking around. Everything was spinning! That was kind of fun. Grinning to herself, she wobbled around before flopping over. "Hehe.."

Sticking his nose out, the little mouse didn't see anyone close. Whatever cat had nearly stepped on his burrow had moved on. Should he go out...? He still wasn't sure... But a roar nearby made up his mind for him. Fear overriding all though, he skittered out and across the dusty floor, squeaking and hoping nothing took notice of him.

Thankfully, nothing did, and he managed to escape getting chomped as he passed from one area into another, hiding behind a small rock, his little chest heaving with breath.

As she continued her search yet again, her luck, she realized, was beginning to wane thin. Grounds that had previously looked hopeful held no surprises, not even the unpleasant kind. By the look of things, no one else was having much luck. She imagined if someone found a cub now, they'd be screaming at the top of their lungs with joy. Mchanga was almost convinced that she would do the same, but she was a reserved leopardess. It'd take a fair bit more than finding a cub to get her to remove the cool expression from her face and replace it with one filled with more emotion.

The little girl got stable once again before getting to her paws and sighing heavily. She giggled and did it one more time. Running as fast as her legs could carry her, she curled up and bounced when she hit a rock, grunting as she felt it in her spine. "OW."

Macaria needed another rest. He rested in the shade and watched the other leopards look around for the cubs. This was becoming a disaster, he thought. The whole pride seemed to be in a panic. All the cubs were doing was playing a game, yet it was so intense that they had lots of leopards looking for them. He hoped that it would be soon that the cubs were found. He was sure everyone hoped that. By now everyone must have been tired of searching for the cubs.

Kalua snorted at all the leopards running around. She walked around, sniffing here, searching there. These cubs were so hard to find. The upside to that is that any lions that wandered around here would never be able to hurt the cubs. They wouldn't even be able to find them. She shuddered at the thought of lions. They were more scary than leopards.

Shakuntala looked away for a moment, and then she heard rustling. What was this? The cubs had MOVED..?! She looked around, soon finding the places they HAD been. Now they were playing tricks on them...

((That's right, the cubs are moving! Same order as before - Stripes, Bling Bling, Paaank, and Taste the Rainbow, two numbers each for their locations!))

"Nor was I." The male turned and gave a welcoming tilt of ihs head, indicating that the other was welcome to follow if he so wished. "My kin lived in a land blessed by the gods. We lived long, fruitful lives. But the gods give and the gods take away."

He took a deep breath, lifting his head and scanning the treetrunks. "Hm...they've obviously not checked everywhere, least the little ones would have been located. You look high and I'll keep my eyes low. If little ones will be found anywhere, it's over-head or under-foot."

Her back hit the dirt right after she hit the rock and whimpered, tears springing to her eyes. That wasn't supposed to happen. Whimpering, Anina laid there and just let out a sob. It hurt a lot, probably bruised her muscles, but she wasn't in any pain.

There was still no sign of the cubs, and Mchanga could not decide whether she was frustrated or worried. It was likely a combination of them both. She had no idea about the details of how or why the cubs were gone, rather she just knew that they had wandered off. The longer they were without the guidance of an adult, the worse off they would be. Doubtlessly, they'd get themselves into trouble and get hurt. Maybe their cries would actually alert everyone as to where they were, but Mchanga didn't quite wish for them to get hurt in order to be discovered.

The tiny mouse stayed there, looking around him, wondering where he should go next. Now that he was out of his burrow, he could hear leopards all around... What a terrible place to be if you were a mouse!!

In passing, he heard voices speaking about cubs. So what had gotten them all riled was that they'd lost some of their young? Well maybe if they didn't all run so darn fast they could keep track of the furry things! At least that was the little mouse's opinion anyway...

Toshka was always leaving Hatari's side. Not because she didn't enjoy the company of the hybrid, but rather because the pair had separate lives when they weren't together. They weren't exactly adventurers in arms, they were more like siblings who spent time together when they found one another, but often went their own way to do things that would have most likely been uninteresting to the other. Besides, in Hatari's search for the Poison King--one Toshka wished the leotah would give up on--covering more ground would surely serve them better.

Today though, in searching for other serpents Toshka had seemed to stumble upon a strange event of sorts.

He moved slowly looking from place to place. This was going to be a long day, he decided. He glanced up at the clouds. If these cubs hadn't played their little game he would be relaxing right about now, watching the clouds sail across the sky. But no this was more important. He could watch clouds any day, well except for the days were it was cloud free.

Sighing, the girl slowly got to her paws and swallowed. No, nothing was bleeding or broken, but it still hurt! Shivering slightly, she started walking around to stretch it out. It hurt so bad, though. She stopped and hissed every once in a while.

"The.. gods can be vengeful," Caius knew this all to well. His pride had suffered an earthquake and killed many of the memebers. He still wondered if his motehr Atia had survived that.

"Alright you take the ground and I'll take the trees then." He repeated what was just instructed back to the other male before clawing his way up a tree. With both on the look out it was a sure thing they'd find the cubs.
