Akasma watched the others from afar, she wondered what it would be like to just once have what they had. Watching and waiting she remembered her mothers words,
"Love is not to be taken lightly"
Well whatever her mother meant when she had said it went completely over Akasma's head at the time and now after she was grown. She wondered to herself if she would ever actually fall in love. It wasn't that she didn't believe in the whole notion but it was more of a why should she. Her mother was a goddess, and she had power in her own right, so what did she need someone else around to make her weak.

Yes, she nodded love was weak but it seemed to bring all those that felt it some sort of joy. There was one...a dark handsome lion she had spied once, but she was so young. It wouldn't have been proper, and she didn't even know what love was then. But now, now she was grown, and still watching from the outside. Watching and waiting for the one she could claim and call her own.
"Soon...I will find someone to love me...I will know this joy..."
She purred as she flicked her tail to retire and think about what she had watched.
