The Flower Meadow

She sniffed the air and sighed as she rose, "such a coward...if you want anything to eat...you will wait until they have eaten or have agreed to let you eat...do you understand", she said coldly. She turned to the location where Alex and Neira looked, smirking as she watched. she spoked softly, "Stand down and wait...or fight all of us...understood".

Neira smirked at Jasmine's firm command, one of a leader. The she-wolf shrugged, Jasmine had been the one to lead them to their prey...

She raised her tail and approached the new wolf, evidently a male by his scent. Her hackles still raised , Neira let her face relax into an emotionless mask and stopped a few paces in front of the wolf that none of the others seemed to see but could only feel. She knew exactly wherehe was an let her dead eyes stare straight into the darkness under the trees she knew he'd be hiding in. She growled once, firmly and stood her ground.

"We made this kill. You did not therefor you will wait till we've our fill of th carcass." She flashed her teeth and stood a little longer, making her desperation for sustenance all too clear from the gaunt way her ribs protruded from her sides and the hint of hysteria that came int her voice when she said the word "carcass" as if she were drooling over the word. She snarled once. "I wouldn't attack a pitiful scavenger!" she spat at him, uncommon venom in her voice as she walked lithely back to the kill and stood over it.

She was waiting to see if any other wolf disapproved of her claim of first to the kill what with Jasmine not joining in the feast despite her primary right to the kill.

Neira's eyes narrowed as she felt the dull throb in her shoulder and the raw hunger in her belly. She tore into the buck's warm flesh, ripping a hole to the liver and devouring the prime organ, feeling her stomach protest to the sudden presence food, but she swallowed back the bile and savored the unique taste of the liver betwee her bloodied jaws.

Alex stood aside. She figured, Neira did need it, and she was a guard of their pack, so Alex wouldn't argue with her. She waited until it was appropriate to approach the kill. Lakota kept excited little Jericho behind her.

Ravon snarled at Neria and burst forward but just enough to not set off to much of an alarm. "You take me as a scavenger!" he snarled at the top of his voice. Raven was not able to fully see, scares of battles, and his straving self. He growled with his teeth fully bared and his eyes watching every move of the wolves. Raven then locked his eyes on what seemed to be the youngest one, Jericho. But he stopped, he turned around and walked away. It wasn't worth the risk, he didn't care how hungery he was it wasn't worth it. "Call me what you want, but... mind this. I will be near you always, like a raven," Raven said running far away enough that they could not see him.
He soon transfomed, into a raven and flew up into the trees above them. His yellow eyes scanned the area.

she looked at them and then she shrugged, walking next to alex before nuzzling. She turned to look around, not even caring about that little aggressive male wolf. She wondered why she helped them, but it was not an bad thing to at least help with.

Lynnia crept forward. She was eyeing the kill. She was slightly aware of the other wolves around her. She was two years young and has yet to learn manners when it came to dealing with other wolves kills. She was on her own and well she wasn't fairing to well.

The femme ripped away a haunch of the buck and pulled it off into the grass to eat alone and let the other wolves feast without her erratic behavior getting in the way. She needed to fill her belly and regain her senses. She felt slightly guilty, now that the adreneline had left her system, about her confrontation and subsequent insult to the hungry male.

Too absorbed in her thoughts to have noticed sooner, Neira's ears pricked up at the sound of yet another wolf approaching cautiously through the grass. This time, she ignored it; let Alex and Jasmine deal with newcomers, she evidently didn't have what it took to be polite to anyone yet after her socially-inept persuasion of the "raven" to wait his turn for a non-participant's share of the kill. She sighed and shrugged her shoulders then gnawed off another mouthful of sinewy, deer haunch.

Lynnia took another step towards the deer and sat back inching forward every now and then. like a dog that had a treat placed in front of her and she wasn't allowed ot eat it. She growled slightly.

"Wait..." Raven said as he stood behind Lynnia. Raven stood right behind her. "Their not worth it.. there are too many... I am Raven and you are..."

Lynnia jumped slightly. She looked at him and leapt away from him landing a good ten yards away. "Lynnia" she barked to him. She watched him carfully her dark grey-green almost black fur on end. The slight designs rippled. The dark lavender of her eyes lightened slightly then darkened again. She studied him.

She sat down and looked to where the wolf in the distance was, simply look at where she thought they were. She didn't trust raven, and for good reason since the last display he showed. She yelled out to them, "hey you two....there are more animals here...other than this one...go deeper in the forest and you might get lucky", she said as a simple test to see what they do.

Lynnia shifted her gaze to the other wolf and leapt into the air landing inches from her nose. Lynnia sniffed and sat back her tail wagging. This other wolf's scent was exquisite

Jasmine laid on teh ground, waiting. She flattened her ears adn eyed the two other wolves. Alex was sitting in front of her, patiently waiting as well, and maybe even curious too.

Lynnia looked and cocked her head at Jasmine and alex. She then jumped back slightly to give the female in front of her some room. Her tail was still wagging.

Jasmine looked to alex and then she looked to this new wolf, "hello there...i guess the food brought you here as well", she said as she looked over this new wolf and sniffed. She looked at her and stared ammused, "you seem to be excited"
