Well, I more or less ignores religion. It's not that I don't believe. I believe in religion in the same way I believe in politicians and celebrities. They might exist, deny each other and claim their truth the be the only one - but that doesn't mean I will fall to my knees before them, have favourites or do what they say.
And just like politicians and celebrities, they make for good jokes if the topic comes up. The trick is not to take them to seriously rolleyes
