DoomNeko Eddily Yeah, they make Doom and Quake and whatnot. One of my favs too.
And for those who haven't beaten Doom on Ultra-Violence yet... I can assure you, it changes your sense of ammo-preserving and aiming in games for the rest of your life. I'll never forget the time I got stuck in a maze of Arch-Viles and ran out of ammo, I had to chainsaw my way through them buggers, filthy 60% HP wort damage-dealing bastards. xp ya well I don't really pay attention to the names of games i never played, and never cared about, i didn't start playing FPS until RedFaction... god that was an awesome game... I was always, and will always be an RTS fan, go SC, C&C, and WC w00t w00t

Vashyyk DoomNeko By the way Vashyyk, do you have any screenies of your characters? I'd be curious to see what they're like ^_^ ya on my comp at home, I'm at my moms until friday, and I'd be doing my HW right now but i have a neckache and a bad headache. When i get home I'll send them to you and take some updated ones, but u might have to change the format on them to jpeg or w.e first
I now have a full set of leather instead of basic robes, now that I'm level 7. I like being RedMage, it's the true Jack-Of-All-Trades class! I can wear both Fighter and Mage stuff, not to mention I get both offensive and curative magics, just a little later than the specialised classes xp

DoomNeko Ah, but don't think of it as a new Everquest with a hint of FF, but rather Square putting Everquest to shame. Seriously, being an MMORPG is the only thing about it that's really like Everquest. Everything else is bigger, better and heckuva prettier, yet no slowdowns to be seen. 3nodding xp
Also, FF11's storyline is tied to the crystals, elements, magic, summons and is chock-full of monsters from previous FFs, that's why they kept the name, otherwise they'd have created a whole new unique universe and given it another series name, like the Mana series. (Legend of Mana, Sowrd of Mana, etc.). Oh and Yoshitaka Amano was the one who did the concept art for FF11, that's a pretty darned good reason to call it an FF. He's pretty much the father of the series 3nodding
And my bad, the job system is more like FF Tactics than FF5. In that game you could have a class and a support class, as well as the fact any character could become a master of a class, being that they trained enough in it. Also, support classes in FF11 are really only support, as they're never more than half the level of the main class, meaning a lvl 20 Warrior could never have a White Mage support job higher than 10. You may be a Warrior with White Magic, but let's face it, you've got the basic Cure spell, maybe Poisona or Dia, but that lvl 35 main-job whitemage next to you can teleport himself to other cities and cast cure 3! Puts your white magic to shame. xd heh, I'll stick to my lvl 26 NightElf Druid, lvl 11 Human Warlock, or lvl 12 Undead Rogue anyday ^.^ might not be as much variety, but once u get talents u can specifically specialize in a set of spells or abilities you have, and even unlocking some kickass ones at the bottom of the talent trees.

I just love walking into an are and seeing a crapload of dead monsters near my lvl, that are skinnable, i just run in circles skinning everything, and following a trail of them till i bump into a group, then i stalk them taking all skins that they leave behind ninja

Those materials that people need for craft skills are sometimes harder to come by, so I sell them high. That and I make a killing selling my older gear for higher-than store prices. You'd be surprised what some can pay when they want an armor on the spot and not have to run three miles around town to find which shop sells it xd heh, most materials for production skills (the primary proffessions are divided into manufacturing and gather) are easy to come buy, but some ppl are so lazy they'll spend quite a bit, but I myself not desperate for coinage and just let it build up, go to a trainer, and then make and sell the stuff while I buy the materials u can't pickup (such as dyes for some pieces) It's really fun. I could probably sell some of the stuff I make for more, or just undercut everyone to make even more, but I'm too lazy, and the Auction House can be quite laggy becuase the city its in is big, and has a coding problem that can cuase lots of lag (just I'm the only one who never has a problem with it o.O;; wink
