"He told me not to tell you, but if you promise... I'll tell you the secret..." Despite her demure appearence, she had her albino father's smile, which she would devilishly show. There was a secret she was hiding... and her gleeful almost- whisper only enhanced the effect.

She looked down at her sister suspiciously. "What do I have to promise?" Curious as she was, which was enough to launch her out of bed at 2 AM just to look something up, she had to be careful when dealing with the mini devil.

"If you promise not to tell..." Alice laughed darkly. "Daddy loves me more than you because of this..." from somewhere in her frilly outfit she pulled out a deck of familiar looking cards. "He's teaching me to use these privately..."

Her eyes widened behind her shades. Could that really be...? Was the little brat actually telling the truth for once? "No way... Turn 'em face up. I wanna see them for real." It was a last ditch effort to save face, but she had no other choice.
