The sleep freeze clause seems dumb to me so I still say no.

which is why i'm going to get a smeargle with roar and spore only ^^

maybe doulde type pokemon should only be allowed to use 1HKO..acctully i just dont want people to be in couraged to use smeargle

Species as in you can't have two Chamanders.

Even with the clause, you can use Charizard and Swellow because they're not the same species.

P.S. Duplicates are congruent Pokemon with the same moves btw.

No, if two of your Pokemon are asleep or frozen, then you lose. It makes it so people don't get a team of sleeping retards.

Ok, let me give you an example:

Say it is A Gardevoir vs. your team. It uses Hypnosis and puts this Pokemon to sleep. Would you switch out right then and risk switching into a powerful attack? OR would you wait until you get a free switch or this Pokemon to wake up?

It is only to make it so the team isn't filled with sleeping/frozen Pokemon. It stops people from switching out immobilized Pokemon, only having it to come backa nd bite them in the butt.

I still don't really get it. I mean I would try to predict what move my opponent would make and switch out a pokemon that could take it. The sleep clause I've always heard was you can't put more then one of your opponents pokemon to sleep at a time.

Ok, time for me to make a statement.

We are NOT doing any freeze clauses of any sort, whether or not a move freezes is random.

We are doing a sleep clause, that you can only put 1 enemy to sleep at a time ((that's the real sleep clause... your got mixed up thinking that both sleep and freeze are the same))
