Honestly, I think out of all the suggestions thus far, Rosemarie DeWitt seems to fit my version of Esme better.

Kate Beckinsale: Her acting is surperb, and if I had to pick someone that could probably pull off Esme, it would be her. She could pull off a man if she was paid enough.
Rosamund: She's too seductress-like for me. I see Esme more of the beautiful home-mother type.
Anne Hathaway: She's too teenage-ish. Not mature enough for me.
Amy Brenneman: Maybe. She's still very... seducing.
Mary-Louise Parker: She has a baby face. ^^;
Emmy Rossum: Again, doesn't have the mature look.
Helena Bonham Carter: If she doesn't look psychotic, she looks like she is about to jump on you and hump your brains out.
