I'm sorry, but I find tongue piercings highly disgusting. xp And smoking is just dumb. stare I resent that last remark, smoking helps you slim and makes you look cool and thats comming from a non smoker... if the rest of you non-smokers don't like it... then go have your fresh air... outside. Yeah a 25 year old with skin of a 40 year old is real cool. smile Not everyone's goes like that. I have family who've smoked for years and are 40 with the skin of a 25 year old. I know alot of people who are the opposite though. And Dragonfire? And I wasn't asking for opinions on smoking or piercings, I was asking for advice. I don't actually care what yu find dumb or disgusting. My entire family smokes and everyone of them have downright disgusting skin,so that's what I was going by,that and every person I know. sweatdrop Its okay. People are different. I got it yesterday :]
It hurts for like 3 seconds as do most piercings.
Then it's uncomfortable, it swells and it's almost impossible to eat and talk without sounding retarded [ask rellik san, he found it amusing]
I went out that night I got it done and it ached so I could barely talk.
And the bar maid gave me orange j20 instead of a less citrusy one and I think that reacted a little with it. But it could be because im allergic to citrus.
Just don't drink alcohol till the bar gets changed for a smaller one and if you smoke use mouthwash after every cigarette [and meal].
I found natural yogurt soothes it a bit and is easy to swallow.
It does feel strange at first and I've had mine since yesterday and I'm almost used to it.
It doesn't hurt so much, it's just annoying and uncomfortable.
But that should pass for me by about wednesday ish. |

I don't really care how you think I sound, I'm just stating a fact. I see no reason why I shouldn't state in the plainest terms how stupid it is to do something that slowly kills you and everyone else around you.
@ Zombie: The great thing about that is I can state my opinions whenever I want, whether you asked for them or not.
@ Relik: You can resent it all you want, but sucking on a cancer stick doesn't make anyone cool, and there are much better ways to stay thin, you know, ways that don't kill you.

Opinions and facts are different. What you stated was an opinion, not a fact. Disliking smoking is fine, as is disliking football. Calling either "stupid" is not.
Dragonfire Goddess I see no reason why I shouldn't state in the plainest terms how stupid it is to do something that slowly kills you and everyone else around you.
Seeing as death is a necessary end to life, i hardly see that as mattering. Smoking may make it more likely that you will die at a younger age, but so will getting into a car. So will not maintaining a proper diet with a regular exercise plan. Most people on the internet do not have a proper diet or exercise a proper amount. Is that "stupid"?
I think not. Each person has their own values. Who are you to decide which values are and are not stupid?
P.S. Interestingly enough, there is not a single statistically significant piece of evidence that shows second hand smoke is harmful. So let us leave that topic be. |
