i really just don't think it'll transition well if and when a dub is made and released.

It was a very good idea with Excel Saga, if you turned on the notes little bits of information would pop up for many aspects of the show (As it doesn't translate very well either), for example Excel's own word for idiot and the such.

I really hope the dubbers find voices that match the characters. It'll be hard, but I hope they do it! ^^;

I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about a dub because i think lucky star is so unique that the original voices just work perfectly and couldn't really be emulated in another language, as is with the jokes. But I'm not the biggest enthusiast for any dubs really because i get used to the japanese voices from fansubs before i buy them.

Just take it as peoples opinions and stop naming people stupidly just because they don't like dubs and they prefer the original format. Agreed, (save for labelling Weaboo vs Otaku) just because somethign is dubbed in a different language, doesn't mean it's going to automatically suck. There are some show out there that I prefer the English dubs to the Japanese versions. One such example is Chrno Crusade, since they dubbed it in English it opened up a lot of American 1920's wordplay which really worked for the series. So don't jump on the dub = bad bandwagon before you've actually heard the dubs, m'kay?
